Great location, host was friendly enough.

On first sight, the room as spacious enough for a family plus we were travelling with two dogs, it appeared very nice.

But once the windows and doors were shut,  the room smelt of dog wee and it was very strong. It really needed a good clean , thick dust and hair behind the beds and side table. The small courtyard was great with dogs, but it wasn’t  grass so our dogs were reluctant to toilet there, we found ourselves taking them for a lot of walks elsewhere. 

Towels and face washers could do with an update they were hard and bleached stained .
The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

We wouldn’t stay here again. It certainly didn’t live up to the photos and reviews.

Disappointed 

Very nice appartment. Queen Bed ,2 lounge chairs and a table with 2 chairs.
Tea,Coffee,milk, Kettle and microwave, cutlery and crockery.
The room was quite large with one luggage rack and plenty of space with a small outdoor patio.
Bathroom has hand soap, Shampoo and conditioner with a large shower and plenty of towels.
Parking was in a marked bay out front but had 3 steps to get up to the patio and front door.
Close to all town activities and also close to the Richmond Arms Hotel for dinner at night which was very popular. Best to book.
I would recommend this accommodation to all with a friendly host and in town accommodation.

Lovely place to stay with all you need

Great little place to stay, has every thing you need, very clean, comfy bed. We advised we were going to be coming in late,10pm. They left the front light on for us and the heater was on, such a welcoming touch.

 Clean and tidy

This place was a lovely surprise! Our room/unit was modern and clean and the little private courtyard was a nice surprise. The location is perfect to walk to the shops and the pub. The manager was friendly. All in all fantastic!

Fantastic!

We enjoyed our one night stay here. We had decided to stay in Richmond for our last night before flying home. Lovely appointed rooms with a small  garden courtyard to sit in. Located at one end of the main street . We would stay here again

Highly recommended

The owner was very pleasant and told us how to get to places .the room was neat and tidy .WE will reconmend to our friends if they are ever deside to stay to stay there. It was in walking distance to the center of town .it was very quiet. The owner spent plenty of time with explaining how everything worked and that we need was there .He also told us were the good eating plases were.

The room where we stayed was spacious, clean and there was a nice little garden area out the back where you could sit down at a small table and chairs.  The location was great, being walking distance to some of the best places.  Very close to the historical Richmond Bridge and Gaol, and also close to the pub if you want a meal and a few drinks before you settle in for the night.

Fantastic location

This is a slaughter motel. When I booked in Agoda, I specified that there are 2 adults and 1 child at 13 years old. At the website, it said that 2 adults and 1 child under 16 years old, the child is for free. When we arrived, the owner said that I had to pay an extra for the child for AUD$30. I felt that I was being conned, especially my Agoda receipt clearly stated that we had 3 travelers, why I had to pay another AUD30 to the owner on the spot. I refused. Then the owner pushed us away from his motel property. During the conversation, he mentioned that his price was the lowest, and that he was operating at a loss. By then, I realized that this is how he runs his business: put an extra low price in the hotel booking websites to attract people to book his motel, then find an excuse to charge people more on the spot. This is a slaughter house, DON'T BE THE NEXT VICTIM!

We stayed here for 2 nights and found our room (#2) to be very comfortable.  Host David showed us where everything was, small kitchenette but suited us fine.
Ate out 1 night at the local hotel.  Close to all attractions and not too far to drive around the countryside.
Nice warm bed, crisp clean sheets, good pillows.  Big bath sheets not skimpy little towels.  Will definitely recommend to family and friends.


Lovely stay

Last night in Tasmania, but we could have happily stayed for additional nights. Easy to find, friendly owner, clean, lovely small private garden, microwave, fridge, reasonable price, easy to walk through town.  
Potential to be noisy, as close to road, and other customers leaving early morning.
