Friendly customer service. CLEAN and tidy. GOOD size pool. Laundry only $4 and plenty of clothes lines or dryers. Owner had magnificent extra large fire pit. Lake over the road and coffee shop next door. Would recommend.

Great place to stay ; close to beach , right on the lake , great walks , very big improvements have been done to this park over the recent year making it very family friendly and the owners are very friendly and approachable , with some very good and modern ideas for this park . Highly recommend to stay.

Great hidden gem

Not very well advertised but was very happy with this park. It is mostly a permanent van park but has a large green patch for camping / caravans all with power and water (sites are all 10m x 10m).

Park has a pool (including toddler pool) and tennis court. Owners are very friendly and very helpful.

Toilets / showers were recently upgraded and very clean and modern.

We stayed 4 nights and loved it. 

Great Park close to lake and not far from beach

We  found this park to be one of the best caravan parks we have stayed at on our travels around NSW.  We were only meant to stay for a couple of nights and we ended up staying for 10.  It’s clean; tidy with new washing/dryers machines and refurbished amenities,   The managers are friendly and provide awesome hospitality as well as the residents.  Would recommend staying here, as we used this park as our base to look around the region.  Also ask about their deals.

Great place to stay

Having travelled extensively in Australia and overseas, staying at all classes of hotel/motel and caravan park accomodation, we keep returning here, as this is our Happy place.   

Management Adam and Kristen are wonderful people and most professional in all aspects of their day to day running of Lakeside.   The cleanest, most friendliest and well presented and maintained holiday village/park we have ever been to.   This place has it all.  A home away from home.  Fantastic surfing beaches within walking distance, a large lake for boating, sailing, and child friendly.  Clean and well set out BBQ facilities.  An inground pool and wading pool, in addition to a kids fully enclosed playground.  A tennis court is on site, and as there are some renovations happening, the games room will be updated in addition to a grey nomads sitting room soon to be established.  A cafe nearby for coffee also sells wood fired pizzas...shopping is 7km away in the Sussex Inlet village.   Management like you to arrive and leave the park with a happy face.  Those with good attitudes to life and pleasant personalities are most welcome.  Management is strict with regards to their rules, and this shows through the wonderful customer base they have.  Pricing is competitive, and the place is heavily booked during holidays.  Would not contemplate staying anywhere else in the area.   

Best on the coast. 

We stayed here for a few days. Upon arrival we noticed the amenities were untidy and had not been cleaned. After several days, and still not having been cleaned, we approached management and they did have someone come in that day to clean. However no-one came and cleaned on other days. Disappointed as amenities need to be cleaned daily especially due to Covid. 

Nice park but hygiene needs improvement 

We had a day trip here to see our daughter, the park is across the road from Swan Lake and only a short walk to the beach. The facilities at the park are very good and the staff very friendly. There is also a cafe located within a few minutes walking distance.
