Our favourite getaway to chill out and relax on the Sunshine Coast. Secure parking, great pool area with BBQ or have a game of tennis. Beach right there, through the green strip. The units are just right, great beds, pillow. A home away from home. The hosts are so kind and helpful.

The two bedroom apartment was very clean and well looked after, with good furniture and comfortable beds.

The bedrooms face the ocean, so it was great to allow the sea breeze in. 

The beach is across from the property, so there is no busy road to cross and safe for children. 

There are plenty of shops and restaurants with walking distance. 

Although the airport is right behind the property, we didn't even hear the planes at all.

It was a very pleasant experience to come to the Salerno and have a relaxing weekend. Perfect for families.

Excellent Beach Front Apartment 

Beautiful views, nice quiet location we will definitely be back. 
The airport was so close but we didn't hear a sound, able to watch the planes take off and land from the balcony. 
Short stroll to the beach and cafes and restaurants right across the road. 

Amazing views 

Great location on the beach with nearby shopping strip. Large self contained apartment with fantastic views and balcony.
We saw whales from the balcony most days.

Tony and Alma were great hosts, friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Great cafes, takeaways and coffee.
The unit is always clean. Tony and Alma always make us feel home, wonderful hosts. We will be back again.
The beach is just there and it has some spectacular sunrises.

Great location

Great stay here for 3 nights. We were given a very warm welcome by Tony, whom we later found out has only been manager for 2 weeks along with his lovely wife Alma. A very friendly couple.  Tony personally showed us to our room. Unit 17 was great. We had great views over the ocean and unit was spacious and squeaky clean. Bed was very comfortable and I loved the pillows. Pool was clean and the hotel is also beside beach. We will definitely be back here when next up this way.

Salerno was amazing

Stayed here for 6 Nights Barry was very helpful checking us in and helping us to our unit. The unit was very clean and tidy and had everything you need. The complex is very close to the beach and had a pool and tennis court. Unit 32 on the 5th floor  has a view of the ocean but also Mt Coolum, road and houses. A great family getaway to the beach where it wasn't crowded.

Beach getaway 

Our Family first stayed with Barry & Ros in September 2021 for my Mum’s 97 th Birthday.
Immediately upon Unit enquiries -we needed 2 for all the Family, Ros was so understanding and helpful in suggesting Unit options that could have our Family altogether on the same floor. 
Ros texted us photos of the Units and then Booking them was so streamlined and our Units lived up to their photos!

Ros & Barry understand Family budgets and needs and do everything they can to accommodate a Holiday that is memorable 

Upon arrival Ros & Barry were both there to greet us and help us to our Units, being extremely and sincerely kind & engaging with my 97 year old Mum.
Ros checked in with us the day of Mum’s Party to see if we needed anything or any help and gave advice about best parking for the number of Guests arriving for lunch.
Everyday there was a welcome and a chat before we headed down to the beach and always time for the little Ones including having guest pool and beach toys available for all the Families.

Barry & Ros are  two of life’s true Human Beings, their personal sincerity together with their professional Hospitality has ensured that we make Holidaying with them our annual tradition. Our Family come from
FNQ and Barry & Ros have created with their Salerno on the Beach that real Rural Country ,Community feel & spirt of Service. Barry & Ros make it truly like coming home to One’s Extended Family  
Ros & Barry always go out of their way to make you feel that in that moment with them, either over the phone/texts or face to face, that you are the most important person/Family in the world.
Nothing is ever too much trouble. This was exemplified on our recent June 2022 Holiday, again with our Family.
Rob & I were going to have 3 days to ourselves after our Family went home following a wonderful week together…
Sadly Rob became ill with COVID and Ros and Barry not only checked in with us everyday until we left earlier to go home, yet checked in with us every day by text until Rob was better.

Salerno on the Beach is a beautiful set of Apartments that lives up to its description of position right on the beach, clean, beautifully presented  and with stunning ocean views from every Apartment …yet a Holiday in a beautiful location with beautiful Units and stunning views is nothing to be enjoyed without wonderfully professional welcoming understanding and attentive Management.  

Ros & Barry are two such Managers who do Salerno on the Beach Marcoola; their Hospitality Profession and their Family Friends & Community Proud. Our Family are Proud and Blessed to know them and we look foreward to our next ‘coming home to our Family’ Ros & Barry over the year and next year.

Salerno on the Beach ‘Coming Home to Family’ always 🙏

We had a family weekend in Marcoola  and our stay at Salerno on the Beach was amazing. It has everything you need  at the accommodation. The 3 bedroom apartment has amazing ocean views and the beach is just a step away. The apartment was spotless and Barry and Ros were lovely friendly people and very helpful. We will definitely be back.
