One of the best BnB experiences I have ever experienced. 
The stay is absolutely unique in the area, offering the most spectacular views of the Daintree River and Mountains.
Barry and Di are wonderful hosts, kind and considerate, and gave a wealth of information and conversation about the Daintree.
I want to sing out about ALL the wonderful aspects of this BnB, but I wont, other than to say every detail to make a truly wonderful experience has been thought of and delivered  by Barry and Di.
So this review is really to say that many wonderful surprises will await you !
The property spaces are exceptional.
Your senses will be overloaded, your tastbuds at breakfast, the sounds of the wildlife, the eye opening views and what you will see.
Barry will help you with river cruises and rainforest visitations, so leave that to him. 
A tip - book 4 nights, so you can experience 3 full days of adventure in the area and time to relax and absorb this beautiful property.

We highly recommend Daintree Village B&B! We had a great stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, but above all Barry and Di are very accommodating, offering great knowledge and advice about the area. Breakfast was very good. Relaxing on the deck and enjoying the view after sightseeing is a highlight.

We would definitely stay again!

This is one of the best B&Bs in the world!! I have stayed in many B&Bs and none compare to this. The location is amazing. High above the Daintree river the views are amazing yet the wildlife is there with you. Spotted two crocs swimming past on the first day.
The accomodation is modern and clean. Beautifully appointed room and the nightly chocolates are a nice touch. Outside the front and back doors mosquito coils burn away keeping you insect free. Even at breakfast there is a mosquito coil at your feet. Large decks and plenty of places to sit outside to enjoy the environment.
The hosts Barry and Dianne take B&B to a meeting level. Easy clear communication beforehand. Once at the B&B we received lots of info on what to do and where to go. Barry even helped us plan our day trip to Cape Tribulation to see the highlight but avoid the time wasters. The breakfast layout is spectacular and changes daily (there is only two of us here). The food is great and fridge facilities for your own things as well.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. You won’t do better in the Daintree and frankly almost anywhere in the world. Unique location, amazing hosts and best in the world environment and fauna. Our 5 days here have been amazing.

The best BnB in the world 

A beautiful location with great attention to detail to make a memorable stay. The hosts - Barry and Di welcomed us and made us feel right at home, whilst also giving us the space to enjoy our honeymoon. The breakfast - well what a spread of delicious tropical fresh fruit followed by yummy eggs. The view - rain forest and river surrounding a lush property with so many choices of spots to relax, hammock, spa, couches and pool. The room - spacious and very clean with all the amenities you'd need, don't forget to find the robes in the cupboard! The knowledge - Barry had maps, ideas and hints galore so we could make the most out of our 3 night stay. 
An unforgettable place to end our trip.

What a stay!

I’ve just returned from having a wonderful break staying at Barry and Di’s b&b. It’s everything you would want on a holiday in the Daintree and more:

- beautiful views of the river that you could sit and watch all day
- wonderful hosts that have some great knowledge about the area and lovely to get to know 
- amazing breakfasts! 
- swimming pool to cool down after a hot day exploring 
- jacuzzi to relax in overlooking the river 
- clean rooms with everything you need and very very comfy beds 

Tip, if there is 4 of you then you can try to rent out both rooms available which is what we did. 

Thanks so much for having us!! We will definitely be back.

The best view and the best hosts!

Barry & Di have created such a beautiful home in a serene picturesque location which just makes you want to sit on the deck under the huge tree & stare at the river amidst the ambient sounds of nature. The room & bathroom were not very big but was comfortable & had everything we needed specially the bathroom though smallish was very well designed & toiletries thoughtfully provided.
Breakfast on the deck was just as lovely as sunset. Home cooked breakfast at a beautifully laid table with colour coordinated place settings & crockery, individual fruit platters with some exotic fruits native to the region, Barry a wealth of information on the local flora & fauna, helpful tips on exploring the area, exciting sighting of the resident pair of crocs through his telescope set up on the deck, need i say more ?

Picturesque !

I could write an essay regarding our stay here.  5 stars dont do this place justice. Exquisite surroundings and beautifully decorated apartments with an eye to every detail. The veranda was a lovely place for a sundowner watching the resident crocodile and listening to all the lovely birds. sadly we didn't get to meet Di but Barry did a great job turning his hand to everything, from providing a fabulous breakfast to being a great tour guide. Thank you Barry for your endless stories, we will never forget our lovely stay with you. Steve and Andrea.

Simply fabulous

The bnb far exceeded our expectations. The location was just stunning - overlooking the daintree River where we saw the crocs. Plus it's in easy access to the heart of the National park. 
The rooms were very well finished and comfortable.
The outdoor space was prefect for relaxing, eating and having a drink whilst enjoying sunset. The hot tub was a bonus.
The host, Barry (unfortunately Diane wasn't there) was fantastic. He was attentive to our needs, talked to us about the local animals, plant life etc and was able to answer all our questions.
Lastly, the hosts had thought of every tiny detail - binoculars, tourches, unbrellas, dressing gowns, chocolates.... The list goes on. 
I can't thank Barry and Diane enough for providing us with a luxury, but informative  stay in Daintree.

Cannot thank Barry and Di enough for welcoming us into their beautiful place by the river. This was honestly the very best stay we have ever had anywhere! From their incredibly warm welcome, great tips on how to fill our days, delicious home made breakfasts,Barry's passionate insight on the local plants and wildlife, and of course the breathtaking location(photos don't do it justice) - we just didn't want to leave! What a truly special time that was. We will deffintely be recommending Daintree village bed and breakfast to our friends and family! Thank you SO much!!

The best place we've ever stayed at!!!

Quite how this is only 4 of 5 B&Bs in Daintree village is a mystery, in our view it was exceptional and should be at the top.

We stayed here for 3 nights.

We were met by Barry and later met Di. They are a friendly couple who are excellent hosts. From the greeting and helpful information Barry produces on what to do & where to go, to booking a wildlife river cruise, to where to see birds, getting his scope so you can see the birds and crocs in the area/river below, to the hearty breakfasts all served on different place mats etc.

As for the B&B the rooms (there are two) were fully en-suite, beautifully and comfortably furnished and with all you need and more.

Breakfast was served on the decking overlooking the river so you could watch the crocs and birds whilst eating breakfast.

The only issue is the paucity of places to eat with a long drive. Barry & Di recognised this and happily set a table on the decking supplying all except the picnic we brought in.
