I recently went on a Soviet-themed group tour, and I can't recommend it enough! Our guide was passionate and extremely knowledgeable, sharing fascinating anecdotes about the Soviet era that really brought the history to life. Visits to iconic monuments were carefully planned, and each stop offered a unique perspective. The atmosphere of the group was very friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable . I particularly appreciated the exchanges and discussions that followed each visit. This allowed me to better understand the impact of this period on current culture. In summary, this excursion was both informative and memorable. If you are curious to learn more about the Soviet era, this is an activity not to be missed!

I did the Essential Armenia Tour with Envoy (I didn't stay at the hostel) and it was an incredible day! Very friendly and knowledgeable guide and everyone else on the tour was also lovely. It was a long day (10hrs) but worth every second as you get to see so much.

Essential Armenia Tour

Excellent tour, great price, very comfortable minibus, the guide was very knowledgeable, plenty of stops, amazing views and the food was fantastic.  It took about ten hours overall as we arrived at 7pm following a very smooth border crossing.

Amazing way to travel between Yerevan and Tbilisi

The tour was very interesting. Saten is very friendly and knows a lot about everything. We did see many different sights and had a great lunch in a family’s house in a small village. Also the tour size was very good (only 4 people). Thank you for this nice experience!

Great tour with Saten

A wonderful tour very well managed by a great guide ( Satin). I particularly appreaciated the small group size, the lunch experience by a local family and the fact that Envoy tour is well balanced among sightseeing and local experiences. You will not find another tour that combines Garni/ Gherard, Noratus and Sevan. Thanks to Satin and to the driver ( I am sorry I don’t remember his name)

Well managed local tour

Very practical transfer with very nice tourist visits to 3 monasteries. The guide was very nice and professional. I really recommend it. We arrived on time to Tbilisi. I do not know why Tripadvisor ask for 200 characters to publish a review.

Great experience

I stayed at this hostel which is in the centre of Yerevan . The room I had was a private room with my own bathroom and it was clean and very good for the price I paid. The communication from the team before I arrived was outstanding and they answered all my questions. They also arranged a transfer from the airport to the hostel and the driver was waiting when I came out from, customs. Highly recommend.

Great price for central city

I had a tour with envoy where we explored some hidden gems in Armenia and also had the chance to eat traditional and yummy food with a local family. It was one of the best experiences and tours I've ever had. I highly recommend it. Special thanks to Saten our amazing guide that day )and also very good photographer) ❤️

The best tour operator and hostel in Yerevan

What an amazing hostel!!! The staff make this place wonderful. They are so kind and helpful, and always willing to have a chat. The beds are comfortable, with shelf and lamp, which is useful, and there are restaurants and bars nearby. The Republic Square is maybe a 15 minute walk but everything is reachable either by foot or taxi (use gg or Yandex). To be fair, the reception staff called taxis for me and got super low prices, and would come out with me to make sure I found the car alright. The city is super interesting, and I took several of the tours, which were amazing. We had lunch with rural Armenian families, which for me, I think was a highlight. I'd highly recommend the hostel, and the tours even if you're not staying there. The people are what makes Armenia and that very much comes through in this wonderful hostel and tour company.
