This was a big positive surprise!
I went there for a week with my five pals and everybody shared that experience.
The people working there were very service minded and friendly at all times during the stay.
The breakfasts were seved with warmth and smiles, and we allways  felt that we were most welcome. 
The host even made some  nice efforts to show us documentaries of Albania's recent history. 
The rooms were huge, nice and well managed. We all recommend this hotel to you all.

Highly recommendable. Good value for your money

We only stayed one night after flying late from Paris and it was a very nice choice, the reception is open 24/7 and the rooms are very clean. We had to leave early so we didn't have breakfast there but they gave us a breakfast to go which was really nice. The personal is very nice (we forgot something and they sent it to our next location).

Super convenient hotel to stay in Tirana

The staff were very professional and helpful. The breakfast was a buffet style. The hotel was very close to the city centre. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Everything was in working order.

Enjoyable stay

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and reserved a room to stay there again. Beautiful central atmospheric house in Blloku converted into a hotel with serene garden and welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is excellent and the price is reasonable. You are literally in the best place in town, walking distance to everywhere and the feeling is like a quiet residencial neighborhood. Highly recommended!!

A great, quiet, well priced, clean and central hotel

Theranda is located in a very quite area, on the heart of Tirana, called Bllok  walking distance to Skanderbeg square and the main tourist attractions like bunk art 2. 
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they made my stay very comfortable, filling as at home. Albanian people really have that kind of hospitality.

Very great service

I chose this hotel due to its high rating on Tripadvisor. 
Upon booking he hotel emailed me to ask if I wanted an airport pick up arranged for €15 which I booked and the driver was there, at the airport waiting for me. Excellent.

Upon arriving at the hotel it is a bit ‘back street’ and didn’t have the best feel about it, but when you walk round a couple of corners there’s plenty of streets with bars and restaurants around. 

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming, and even agreed to me having a late check out for the next day as I had a late flight, this was a quick one night visit.

The room was small, basic, but clean and functional. WiFi was good. Breakfast buffet looked ok, basic but enough, although I just had a coffee

Overall it’s a perfectly fine stay. It’s not the Radisson, Accor type hotels I am used to, so don’t be expecting that kind of decor and atmosphere, feels like a large B&B But for £27 for a night including breakfast it’s perfectly reasonable and pleasant 

Not too bad

Very friendly welcome and I really appreciated that they let me check in 3 hours before the official check in time. The room was nice and comfy. Good bathroom. Fairly wide choice at breakfast. I also was very grateful that they made me a coffee to go when I had to check out early on my last morning to get the bus to Podgorica. I would stay here again.

Good central hotel

The location of Hotel Theranda can’t be beat. The building and rooms are starting to show their age and could use some simple updates like new floors and a touch up on paint. The WiFi on the third floor was on and off. When we left, the front desk said that they were considering changing their internet service. Hopefully they can find a better solution!

Great location, facilities could use an update

The location of the hotel is great and the guy at the reception is very helpful but we luckily only stayed for one night. The surroundings were super loud so you could hear everything into the room. There was no amenities and the bed was super hard and there was no duvet just a paper thin sheet so it was the worst sleep of my life. We wanted to leave our bags for the day and we literally just had to leave them in the middle of the reception floor for anyone to take 🤔 The breakfast was two eggs, two bananas, some bread and butter, not like the pictures! The wifi was barely working
