I stayed here for two nights - before and after visiting the Koman Lake Ferry (very well worth it).

I feel bad only giving it 3 stars given that the price is so reasonable.  It was only a bit more than hostel options I had looked at.  For that I got my own very clean private room and bathroom.

There are three reasons I did not five them more stars.
 
1. The staff ability of communicating in English was from zero to very good depending upon who was at the desk.  When I checked in, the two ladies were having a difficult time figuring out what to do.  I do not know what the issue was (I think it may have been that I booked a room with a balcony and fridge and the only room they already had open lacked these features -- it didn't matter to me as I really didn't need either).  During the stay, other staff's ability to speak English varied from acceptable to exceptional.  My recommendation is for times that the  non-English speaking staff are alone, have an English language piece of paper that walks you through the steps and gives information like the Internet password.

2. The location is a 10 minute walk from the center - not bad but the other alternatives are even closer.  I was a little worried that the Koman Lake Ferry pick up van driver would not know where it is -- but they know it.   Two of the other guests also were being picked up.  It seams that they share the same clientèle for the Koman Lake ferry.

3.  It should be a quiet residential street, but somehow the overall noise level was higher than I expected.

I had slipped out early before 6AM to buy some fruit and drinks for the day so they did not see me leave.  When I got back in the evening the maid must have thought I was still inside all day sleeping.  Outside of the door was a laundry basket of fresh towels, soaps, a new roll of toilet paper, etc.  I think it was nice for them not to want to disturb me.  

Let me finish by again saying I am happy that I stayed there.  The value for what you pay is definitely there.

Very acceptable budget option

The owner was incredibly rude, short-changing us, yelling at us, and refusing to call us a taxi.
The description said there was a refrigerator and a bath in the room, but there wasn't.
Would recommend one of the hostels closer to the main part of town, if you really want cheap accommodation. We stayed only one night here and moved to a hostel the next day, where the staff were friendly and the rooms as described.

Rude owner

We stayed here for 2 nights last year on our way to the Koman ferry. It is located on the outer edge of the town centre, it was quiet. 
The room was large with a small balcony and a large bathroom. It included a fridge and reasonable wifi.
The staff did not speak English but were very friendly and were happy to give us anything we needed.
The only downside was they were not overly helpful when it came to tourist information.

Decent budget option

We stayed in room 14 - great views, nice, clean and quiet, ac working, wifi very good.  It is on a4th floor, there is no lift. We had fridge in the room. shop is just accross the street. Walk to city centre is about 10 min. There is a bar downstairs, they also will bring coffee to your room when ordered.
