The Hmong Sister House location, surrounded by picturesque mountains and terraced rice fields, provided a stunning backdrop for our trip. The staff at the homestay were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The guided treks through the beautiful landscapes allowed us to connect with nature and learn about the local culture. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the traditional meals were a culinary delight. But the Wi-Fi signal could be weak at times. However, it allowed us to disconnect from technology and fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The shower water temperature could also be inconsistent, but it did not significantly impact our overall experience. We left Hmong Sister House with incredible memories and a desire to return in near future!

Our trekking experience with Chu from Zizi Homestay was absolutely incredible. The 2-day Buffalo trek took us through some of the most stunning terraced landscapes we have ever seen. Chu's expertise and guidance made the journey all the more special as she shared with us her knowledge of Hmong culture and history. We were amazed by the opportunity to participate in traditional Hmong activities like planting and clothes-making, and we even got to touch the Hmong buffalo which was a unique experience. The homestay was comfortable and authentic, with delicious meals prepared by Zizi and her family. We felt so welcome in their home and appreciated the genuine warmth and hospitality they showed us. We were sad to leave, but we will always cherish the memories we made. A Friend's Recommendation Unveils the Magic of Zizi Homestay in Sapa

I went there in February together with my mum, just for 2 days and I must say it was totally worth it! The place is quite far away from the crowdy Sapa and it's what makes it outstanding. Surrounded by rice fields, close to the local village, very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a rest after a trekking or two. Our room was very clean and cosy, with comfy beds. Quite small but there's a plenty of space outside when you can chill. The host family is the best! They helped us to organize the trekking, manage bus tickets in a reasonable price and the taxi to go back to Sapa which was very convenient. Breakfast options are very fair and when you there you must join the dinner! Delicious. Totally recommended. Great value for money also.

Ultimate Sapa experience

We were so amazed by the beauty of the Homestay’s surrounding landscapes. The food served by Thanh was delicious (you can get feied rice and pancakes for breakfast, and more), as the Vietnamese coffee she bought in the village just for us when we wanted some! She was cute and available anytime we needed. We absolutely loved to be outside Sa Pa town’s effervescence (but only 20’ in taxi) and waking up in such a lovely place. The rooms were equipped with a mosquito net, which was useful. You have two working bathrooms to share; they even got warm water.

A hidden gem in Sa Pa’s  mountains

Zizi Homestay is a great place to stay if you plan to visit the surroundings of Sapa Town. 
Zizi and her family are particularly welcoming, they make you feel at home. Their house is very animated, there are dogs and chickens running around, along with children playing. The decorations inside are part of the Hmong culture and you can even buy some homemade Hmong clothes and bags in their shop. From their terrace you have a wonderful view of the rice fields and surrounding mountains. 
The homemade food is lovingly prepared and delicious. In all the places we have stayed in Vietnam, Zizi was the only one to offer a family dinner. All tourists gather around a large table and all sorts of plates filled with food are brought. Not only did we eat very well but we made very good friends in various countries whom we already plan to go visit in the future.
We have kept a very good memory of Zizi homestay and will definitely visit again during our next trip to Vietnam.
