Nice part of town, close to all sights. Very friendly and helpful staff, good bar and coffee. Happy hour. Mr. Bean pictured everywhere. Singing birds in cages. Street closed for traffic at weekends. Great.

Room & bathroom ok.
Staff allowed us to shower nearby for free before our bus trip, even if we left the room earlier. Possibility to rent a motobike and to do laundry.
Quiet location.

The location is ideal for us because it is on the backpacker street in Hue so when you get down at night, all the fun is right there. Many bars to choose from and there is a club opposite. But what makes the hotel special for us is the service from the lady at the reception. We got free cold water bottles as soon as we arrived and we got the next day too with a plate of fruits, even though we had bahn mi from the cart on the street. Sure, the room was basic and nothing special but they had aircon and we felt comfortable.

Good guesthouse with friendly staff

Friendly staff and close to the bars

the room was very cheap and the staff where very friendly and helpful. however, our room was damp and musty, and the balcony door didn't shut properly. the balcony just looks out onto other buildings. the location is down a back alley which floods when it rains heavily (which it did on the day we arrived) - it wasn't possible to walk through it without getting our shoes soaked. there are bars and restaurants nearby but it's a fair walk from the area with lots of bars etc.

cheap and cheerful

The only plus to this guesthouse was that I could check in earlier, because the room was ready when I arrived. The host helped me book bus tickets to Hoi An.

The room looked like it hadn't been renovated in ages. There was no window, just a painted door window to outside that didn't let in any light. The air conditioning machine was broken and there was just a very noisy fan in the room. Given the extreme level of humidity in the air, this was far from ideal. The bathroom had no door handle and I locked myself inside when taking a shower. The only way I managed to open the door was because the wood was so rotten it was falling apart and had some holes in it I could use to open it. The shower was right in the middle of the bathroom, which caused water everywhere which didn't dry until I left, on the second day. The place was very noisy and I got woken up at 6 a.m. by screams and slamming doors, etc. This is cheap accomodation, but definitely not worth staying in if you are looking for decent conditions.
