The place is peacefull that is right .
But my money was stolen in my bungalow(my falt was to let money in my room about 120$)  but probably by the cleaning staff because i was alone in the bungalow while my staying here! 
After the second night  i had very hard skin scratches
..i saw a doctor, it was "Scabies" from the bed be carefull! 
I was very disapointed about the food,
We can see the staff cooking in a open kitchen, they was cooking some fresh seafood , but when i wanted order the same thing , i understood than this food is only for vietamese customers...
I ordered a dish, and looked the staff doing,
My seafoods was  picked from the frost.... 
In a bar in front of see.....
So if you are tourist, you can not eat the same food than vietnamese customers...
Just keep know it

Stolen, bed bugs and frozen food !

We went to spend the day with our 2 young girls, so we didn't test the hotel. Too many waves to swim but the big one jump around with her dad! The local food is very fresh and home mad. The warm bananas for dessert are excellent.

Nice food and beautiful beach!

I had read the same reviews as my title, but thought I'd give it a go anyways. Well, they were right. There is a concrete duplex w 2 separate rooms each w/ensuite, fan, electricity, mossie nets, & thatch roof. There is another more rustic hut w/8 bunk beds & separate bathroom/shower (2). The linens were good, a plus when the weather is muggy & hot. The pillows & toilet paper were good & hot shower. But the concrete building duplex is old, nothing really 'closes' properly, & there was no soap provided, kinda odd for the price. Luckily I had my own. I got the breakfast included. If you are really hungry better get the chicken soup. It was good, thick & filling. The dinner & drinks are expensive. 180vnd/dinner, 30vnd beer, 65vnd cocktail. So that completely wipes out any bargain you think you are getting for a room. I don't mind paying for a spot near the ocean, but the overall value just want there. Stay in the city & get your beach fix somewhere else. Also, a recent storm came thru and wiped out most of the actual beach area anyways. Not sure of repair plans for that. It was quiet and peaceful as nobody else was around. And all the staff were very pleasant and attentive, despite other reviews I had read.

A bit expensive for what you get

Would reccommend for a whole day beach getaway, you can rent sunchairsin the shade, good food, coffee drinks...  worth a visit from Hue, about 20 minutes ride from the center, 8k bus one way or cca 70k bike ride

Good place

We caught grab bikes out to The Beach Bar from central Hue at around 4pm and after some arguing with the riders about where it was (they tried to drop us off 5km short of the hotel) we arrived at the cost of about $4 AUS each. 
We knew about the 100k Dong entry to the private beach so were happy enough to go with that and found a nice spot on the sand. The beach was absolutely beautiful so we jumped in the (gentle) surf and paddled around for a bit.
After our swim we settled in for a couple of cold Hudas (beer) and watched the sun set. Then we moved up into the restaurant area (still in the sand) and ordered some spring rolls and more beer. All up we had 7 large bottles of beer and a generous serve of spring rolls for an extra 65k dong on top of the “entry” fee. A taxi back cost another $16 meaning the whole excursion was about $40. We reckon this was pretty awesome value for a great afternoon/evening.

Beautiful afternoon trip from Hue

This quiet and nice beach with great beach bar is must see while in Hue. Beach is very clean and not crowded at all. Food and drinks in beach bar are awesome. You pay 100 000 VND and you spend it in a bar in exchange of private beach. Highly recommend.

Must see and visit in Hue!

The Beach is really close and nice! Because it is a privat Beach. 
 nothing Else is around, so you have to take a taxi to the City. The Restaurant is okay, but pretty expensive (European prices) and tjere is no Alternative around, they dont speak english really well. 
The bungalows are okay, a Little small. 
All in all it is good for one daytrip from the City or one Night, but it is more expensive because of the Restaurant.

If you rent a scooter in Hue, take the small roads in the countryside, driving along the river for about 1h30 to the island on the East, Thừa Thiên. (You can take the main road for about 30/40min but not as beautiful). When you are on the island, drive south and follow the sign to the Beach Bar. You can pay 100000 dongs for the day (used in vouchers at the restaurant). The beach is very clean and you can also use the magnificent pool for 100000 more. A nice and relaxing afternoon. 

Hidden gem

The beach is absolutely amazing. Feels like paradise. Employees are very friendly, but sometimes not understanding English or are unable to help. 
Accommodation is very simple but totally suits the beach style, we liked it a lot (apart from the rubbish bed in our bungalow). 

Unfortunately, food and drinks are highly overpriced. Expect to pay European prices. And the breakfast is probably the worst we had in Vietnam. If you come, bring as much own food and water as possible.

This place has such high potential. Hopefully the management will understand the needs of clients better one day.
