Hoang Ngoc hotel has a nice bay front water view. Walking around and saw this hotel on the main shore line street. We came to Cat Ba during off season, and the owner came out to welcome us. He showed us the room with bay view, and gave us an off season price. It was a good price even during off season. The room is very spacious and clean, and you can look through the entire bay from the balcony that literally can take your breath away. We also heard that if you would need to book way ahead to stay there during summer because it would sold out. Perfect place to stay in Cat Ba.
