Excelent location to enjoy the peacefull beach. The place is managed by the owners who mantain all the cabins in perfect conditions. They are also available to assist you. Sumarazing we've spent a wonderful relaxing time.

Ideal place for rest

The ultimate escape if you enjoy walking for many miles on deserted, pristinely clean Atlantic sea-coast beaches with crashing waves.  There are however more populated beaches with kite surfing not too far away! 6 cabanas in an isolated location - well-equipped with full kitchen facilities, outside decks, none facing the other (privacy), totally silent, an easy walk through sand dunes to the beach for night-time star watching - no light pollution.  The helpful hosts live on-site and are always available. A car is essential:  3.5 hr drive from Montevideo - supermarket 10 mins away, loads of restaurants in the area and the coastal towns are fun to visit - several of which seem like modern-day hippie hangouts with loads of 20-40 year olds.  We stayed 5 nights and after 2+ months traveling and eating in restaurants were pleased to be able to cook what we wanted for dinner, walk 3 hrs each day on various deserted beaches, visit all the coastal town north of La Pedrera, and generally chill out in total privacy.  For a drop-out relax without having to socialise this is the perfect location.

Our hosts, Serge and Susanna, were great! They live onsite, and are always available for questions. There was a full kitchen in the unit, and they were very helpful in making excellent recommendations for places to buy groceries and some delicious area restaurants that we would never have found on our own. We made our own breakfast each morning and enjoyed it on the front deck. The property is very quiet, as it is well off the main road. The beach is a short walk away (up and down over the dunes) and is totally deserted. You can walk for miles and see no one. The property is very well located for day trips by car up and down the coast to visit Cabo Polonio, Punta del Diablo, La Pedrera, La Paloma, etc. We did them all! Our last night there, we grilled meats and vegetables with our hosts over an open fire..an asado...until the early hours of the morning! They were very happy to share this Argentinian/Uruguayan experience with us. We hope to visit again!

Aloha Village es un lugar paradisíaco, donde todo es buen gusto, comodidad y amabilidad. Situado en medio de la naturaleza, rodeado de árboles y vegetación y a metros de una interminable playa desierta. Para descansar, surfear, caminar, cabalgar o acercarse a lugares pintorescos como La Pedrera o Valizas o Cabo Polonio.

Aloha Village is an amazing place where the kindness of the owners goes along with the glamour and quality of the installation, Surounded by trees and bushes close to an isolated beach . Fantastic place to rest, walk, ride horses go to surf or visit some nice villages such as La Pedrera, Cabo Polonio and Valizas.

Descanso de Diciembre en un paraiso natural. Rest in an amazing place in the middle of the nature

We stayed for 4 nights and loved them all. Hard to get bored of the beach, sand dunes, birds & animals, so peaceful and relaxing. Serge was always available if we wanted something, although not intrusive. One of the nicest nights was sharing a parilla (bbq) with him with a glass of wine. Get supplies from the local town and enjoy a parilla watching the stars. 
Don't forget that Eddie the iguana prefers salami to cucumber.

Great location, great owner, special.

Aloha Village is by far the best accommodation experience I have encountered since I moved to Uruguay. The hosts are simply wonderful and the place is magical. The littles houses are very well kept, spacious and very comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The beach, which is just a few meters away is perfect for long walks and star glazing at night. I have now returned twice to Aloha Village and intend to be back again!!

A place to remember and to return too

A peaceful gorgeous location; we had the beach all for ourselves. Aloha Village hosts were very kind and helpful. Their recommendations for day trips and "asado" lessons made our stay perfect :) The best place in Uruguay! We will definitely return - thank you.

A perfect place to de-stress 

Swinging gently in our hammock, dappled with the heat of the morning sun, I suddenly notice all the butterflies. Thousands of butterflies, silently flitting all around me. At night there are the most stars I have ever seen, you can see galaxies too with the naked eye, it's difficult to look away, it's so astonishing. 3k up the road is La Pedrera, a surf village, great to pick up groceries or dip into for an early dinner and cocktails. 
When we arrived our hosts were shocked we had come on foot, it says a car is advised. There is no local shop to visit or bar. Hmmm......  so we panicked and agreed to hire a car in a day or two. Meanwhile the owner kindly drove us to Pedrera and waited while we did a big shop to last us the week, including some of the most fantastic beef for the communal barbeque. They were both so helpful, arranged for their neighbour to do our bag of laundry that the last 5 star hotel were unable to help us with. They offered to book horses, taxis and advise day trips so that we had the best possible experience. 

The thing is, by the time the car arrived it was of no interest. We had finally stopped, stopped visiting markets, stopped looking at antiques, stopped visiting monuments, stopped shopping etc instead we spent the whole week, swimming naked at sunrise, siesta-ing, BBQing Argentinian style with our hosts and other guests, it's sociable in the evening if you wish to join.  (there are 7 bungalows I think) learning to use a fire pit and disc cooking, late afternoon beach walks, reading in the hammock, star gazing, cool showers under a rosemary bush, listening to deafening call of the wild world and the waves of the Atlantic 150m away. 
There are taxis for supermarket top ups and trips to town for dinner or lunches, but who needs a car and a schedule when you have deus ex natura? 

When you truly stop you see the butterflies....... paradise, peace, perfection!
