Registration issues took 3 days to resolve, information provided on accessing WiFi, air conditioning was incorrect; smoke detector alarmed for undetectable reason, removed battery but unable to get a return call to resolve issue. Communication poor between resort management and unit rental agencies.   Resort was beautiful and within walking distance.

Stayed at Kamaole Sands this trip and had a great experience. We had unit 6-204 which is near the back of the resort on the second floor by the pool. No road noise and quiet when the pool is not busy or closed for the evening. The unit has two bathrooms, a full kitchen, A/c, and a washer and dryer. Also good wifi and cable TV. Kamaole Sands park and beach is directly across the street. Nice beach and accessible. There are beach chairs and beach toys for the kids in the unit. I would stay here again.

Great vacation condo on Maui.

We were redirected to this hotel due to over-booking from a close-by one through COSTCO Travel package. The receptionists were friendly and welcomed us warmly around 1100pm. The suite we got was nice and clean with all appliances ready. The hotel is right cross a beach. Moring runs and evening walks along the shore are amazing experiences. We have a very good stay.

Great stay for family trip

Beautiful well kept condo. Beach and pool both an easy walk. Could see sunset from our condo or walk across the street and watch it on the beach. Close to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. I would definitely recommend staying here. Also has parking right outside the condo.

What’s not to like

The furniture was good, even the third bed - a sofa bed in the room. He was very uncomfortable. The rest was fine, we appreciate the dryer, kitchen equipment and the possibility to rent snorkeling equipment. This is a good location with the possibility of parking. The disadvantage is the lack of cleaning.

Good resort for longer stay

We had a great stay, but we were surprised by a $155 USD fee at checkout for a "checkout cleaning fee" We were made aware that there would be a nominal $40.00 resort fee when we booked, but we were not made aware of this extra fee until we checked out. Hopefully, the resort will make people aware of this fee when they book in the future.  I'd definitely stay here again but the extra charge was a bit of a pill to have to swallow

Watch out for hidden fees

The location of the property is great! It’s close to some lovely beaches and a short walk from many shops and great restaurants. The grounds are incredible with beautiful palm trees and tropical flowers. Our unit was building 6 unit 405. The unit is spacious and comfortable. The hosts are amazing and have paid great attention to detail. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Also there are nice beach towels, beach chairs, cooler bag, snorkel equipment and boogie boards! Our unit had beautiful views of gorgeous sunsets and the large sun deck overlooked the pool. The pool is quite large and there are also hot tubs and a kiddie pool. We used the pool quite a bit when the wind picked up at the beach in the afternoons…We are a family of 4 and the unit was extremely comfortable for us! There is a king sized bed in the master and 2 queen beds in the second bedroom. There are also 2 bathrooms! We couldn’t have asked for anything more… Thank you to our hosts and the staff at Kam sands!

Great place to stay in Kihei

We stayed in unit 5-109.  The main bed in the unit was a very soft foam mattress that did not offer support.  The sofa bed was so worn that there was no mattress to speak of and the foam underlay was also paper thin and perished. This also meant that there were large dips in the sofa when seated on it.  On Day 4 of our stay, I strained my back so badly when trying to extract myself from the sofa that by 2 am in the morning, we had to ring for an ambulance to take me to the emergency room.  We have been unable to continue our planned activities because I am in severe pain and just trying to get myself flight-ready for my flight home.  To be fair, the complex did move us after this incident to another unit that has more modern facilities  and better beds.  But I think your reservation with this location is a crap shoot.  You may get a unit where the owner maintains it, or you may not.  The facilities is located walking distance to very good swimming beaches that are monitored by lifeguards

Bed and furniture of very poor quality; I ended up with a back injury

We booked through Costco travel, got a one bedroom condo.  It’s spacious, has a big kitchen, just need to buy cooking oil if you plan to cook(we did). It’s quite, we didn’t hear any of our neighbours.  The only complaint I have is the noise of the AC, sounds like there’s a Reno project in the apartment, so loud by any measure.  The Kampala beach is across street so extremely easy to get there, breathtaking sun set.

Great location

Stay in building 4 app 209. 
It looks when it was build inside. The kitchen doors are broken. 
No sun at the terrace. It is Dark inside with Old carpets. Has to be repainted inside. 
We have rented 3 appartments, the others were  modernised, well eguiped in the kitchen. 
Got trouble with wifi and the place to park the car. Not the best help I Got from a front Desk. 
The area around the building is well cared. 
It is the 4. Island we are visiting on this trip and we have been disapointed in this appartment.
