Very clean rooms. Staff was awesome and the pool was clean and not crowded at all. It's very close to everything at myrtle beach.met some really nice people while staying here also. We will be staying here again.

Motel

Rooms were clean,very roomy. Great pool.The staff were all friendly and helpful. Close to the beach and the boardwalk.all attractions were close enough to walk. Oh and Krispy Kreme was just around the corner. Yum!

The Carolina Tarheel Motel is no Mariott, but for the price, it's perfect. The room was clean, the TV worked, the shower had good water pressure, the beds were comfortable. The pool was also nice! Danny, the front desk guy, was very accommodating with my late arrival and was very friendly during our stay. I love how close this motel is to the beach -- less than a 5 minute walk -- as well as to the boardwalk -- more of a 10 minute walk. I will definitely stay here next time I go to Myrtle Beach.

Would come back

This motel has a fantastic location, close to the beach and easy to walk to the main area. The bed was big and comfortable and the room was spacious. The only downside was that the WiFi didn’t connect in our room but it did work if we were outside- not the end of the world! This is a motel so don’t expect anything fancy but I’d definitely stay here again for the price and location! 

Comfortable and Convenient 

My family and I stayed for a week and we really enjoyed the motel. It is true that you have to run the AC the whole time on the lowest setting and the highest fan speed, but it is worth it for the price and convince to attractions, restaurants, and beach. Wish the pool was larger, but the motel is on limited land. Will highly consider staying again.

Great Place To Stay

We stayed here on fairly short notice for a wedding in Surfside Beach.  If we'd made our decision to go to the wedding earlier, we probably would have found a better price, closer to the wedding and more upscale accommodations.  But that is what it is, and this is where we stayed.  I'm giving it 4 stars because paying $70-ish per night in a resort area on short notice in the height of summer, we very much got what we needed which was a place to sleep, shower, change clothes and get to nearly a week's worth of wedding activities.  I made the reservation directly with the motel and had no issues there.  The room itself is clean and functional.  Nothing fancy, but we expected nothing fancy at this price.  The TV worked and had an adequate channel selection and the AC was cold.  Good cell reception but did not try out any wi-fi devices.  Didn't use the pool as we spent most all of everyday that we were there in Surfside at the resort where most of the wedding guests were staying and the wedding itself was. The bathroom was tiny, but hot water and good water pressure for the shower. Great for an inexpensive resort area stay.  Also, adequate food and grocery options nearby

Pretty darn good for the money

Pool was over chlorinated it bleached my new swim suit top did that same thing to my husbands tee . We said something said levels checked daily we seen a child checking it . Pool dirty full of sand . A/C didn’t cool rooms wasn’t big enough for the room . The room was clean that it is it .  U can pay a little more and stay somewhere a little nicer
