The property was nice. I heard the heat didn't work all the time, and it was cold in the room, but we came back in the afternoon and it was 75 degrees. At one time I just turned the heat off. The property was within walking distance from downtown. Don't go in March or April as it's between season and a lot of things to do there are shut down until May 1st.

Jackson Hole Vacation

Introduction
Jackson is an older timeshare property which is well maintained but needs renovations in several areas. It offers a great location in Jackson from which to explore the town and the surrounding mountains. Although I rate its services highly, its "resort" value as a timeshare is only "average", with few amenities.

The principal reason for staying here is to access the area’s attractions, especially skiing in the winter at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Skiing was the primary purpose of our mid-winter visit. It is well located for that, being only a block and a half from both the town-to-mountain transportation center and the historic central plaza.

Jackson, Wyoming is a tourist town that caters to wealthy second homeowners. Its real estate and better restaurants are priced to match. However, we found relatively reasonable fare in several different venues. 

Unit Features
The resort is located on a busy side street just off the main drag and only a block or two south of the town’s central plaza. With only 12 units, the resort has few amenities available in the winter. We exchanged into a 2BR 2BA unit on the first floor. The unit included a king-sized bed, a pull-out sofa, a dining table and six chairs, dresser in each BR, a straight chair and a coffee table in the LR. Appliances included an electric range, dishwasher, apartment-size refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, blender and a microwave over the stove. The kitchen, dining and living area are one large space, with a door leading to the rear yard and dumpster.

A small HDTV is located in the LR. A much larger HDTV is located atop the master BR dresser. One nice touch was that the second BA is a handicapped-accessible room with a large, roll-in shower.

Size of Unit
I would rate this as a slightly smaller than average size 2BR unit, perhaps 650 sq. ft. in all. The living spaces felt comfortably roomy, although a recliner would have been nice. The master BR was roomy enough for two people to maneuver in, although the master BA was small, with the vanity in the BR, and a very small tub/toilet closet next to it. The second BR held a queen-size bed and had plenty of room for two with luggage. Small closets were provided in each BR.

Great Location for Grand Teton Explorers

Walking distance to square, it was “off season” - many restaurants & shops closed till May.  Unit above very noisy, .....nice size & big kitchen. Friendly staff, would stay here again. Parking right in front. 

Great location in JH

We decided to Stay at Jackson Hole because it was a doable drive to The Grand Tetons, West Entrance of Yellowstone, and to Alpine (Snake River Gorge). All drives are within a couple of hours. This time of year the southern entrance of Yellowstone thru Teton was closed unit May.
We used RCI points which may have been better suited paying for the room straight out. The Hotel is just what it says a Hotel with a kitchen (not a resort). It was convenient to restaurants, shopping in town.
The young man who ran the check-in desk is very helpful and polite. And would go out of his way to accommodate any request.
About the room, it’s a rustic western style Motel 2 floors, outside stairs. No covered parking.
Full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher. Room was cozy and clean. The television was small and very limited channels.
Just be sure to ask for interior rooms, the exterior rooms will have the all the  road noise and all alley ways. And the trash runs 5-6 am every other morning.



Base Camp

We stayed here 4 nights. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Windows that will open, which was nice. There is a good size kitchen with everything you need. The heat and air is for the main rooms only. There is none in the bedrooms so beware if your staying in cold or summer months. It was ok for us as we were there during nice weather. The beds are not very comfy but hey that’s sort of a norm when vacationing. All in all it was a great place for us and we would stay here again.

Very Nice

Although we enjoyed our stay in Jackson Hole, the facility at Jackson Pines needs to have a heating source for the bedrooms.  The only heating source is in the main room of the house, and they were on timers which we could not overide.  We had to leave the bedroom doors open while sleeping to stay somewhat comfortable.  On the first morning we did not have any hot water, however, the problem was rectified the second day.

Lack of heat in the bedrooms

For me this was/is a 5 star experience, but it woukd be a stretch to call this motel conversion a resort and I dont want to lead anyone astray.  But hey it is in Downtown Jackson 2 or 3 blocks from anything you might need.  We were there to ski so the non-resort was fine by us.  Commute and parking at Jackson Hole Ski area was manageable and better than expected, although bear in mind this was late Jan.  Public bus options are available with a bus stop adjacent to the Pines.  BTW the "pines' are less visible from the street than expected and we almost drove by.  I have been watching/hoping for availability in this property for years and finally it worked out.  Larger, cleaner, and better equipped than anticipated.

Great base in Downtown Jackson.

Would not recommend this property for point conversions under a RCI exchange program. The rooms were okay but outdated. Mold in the shower. Beds uncomfortable and sofa bed broken down and unusable. Not what we expected upon checkin. My reservation was for the 23rd to 31 December. The desk clerk called me on the 23rd and asked if we were still checking out on the 26th which I  informed him That we would be arriving in 30 minutes or so

Winter vacation in Jackson Hole WY

We stayed here the week before Christmas. It is a small but nice complex. The units are well stocked and clean. The complex is basic without any laundry or elevators.It was good enough for us to stay a week in without any issues. The office does have very limited hours which could be somewhat a problem if you needed something, The heater did work but would only set a certain temp for like 4 hours. I think we were eventually able to overide that setting however. I would stay here  again.

Small but nice

This year we stayed at the Jackson Pines, Last year Towncenter.  The towncenter had a fireplace and super generous size bedrooms, but had to purchase a candle to help with a shutup smell.  The Jackson Pines didn't smel,l smaller bedrooms with limited storage and closet.  But boy did you hear every step that the upstairs guests made.  We jokingly made up stories on what they might be doing up there, from running in place to line dancing.  We all agree that we HATED the thermostat that is on a timer and just as we got warm it would revert to basic setting which was 62 I believe.  Floors are cold on ground level, we needed HEAT at 9 below zero!  As for the office personal, especially Maribelle, a delight to do business with.  We also had a gentleman who took care of the checking in and he was also delightful to work with.  We had a wonderful trip and although I listed some negatives, none of them would deter us from returning.
