Don’t believe the reviews, they are NOT accurate. Our room was NOT a room that has been remodeled.

﻿There were very few people staying at this motel. So, what do they do? They put us all  right next to each other. WTF? Why not put a room between us, especially when you have paper thin walls (I can hear my neighbor pee).

On the day of arrival we received an Info email. Bfast is 7 am - 10 am. However, when we showed up at 9.10 am, the door was closed/locked and the sign said bfast was from 7 - 9 am. Again, WTF? The email we received less than 24 hours earlier was wrong.

Bfast items were better than expected. Strong coffee.

Strong WiFi.

Owner has a big dog that goes apeshit barking when it sees someone (it looks out a window), so hope you don’t get assigned a room near the office. Hotel also allows dogs, so we heard at least 2 other dogs barking, including in the middle of the night.  I originally didn’t hear a dog barking in the middle of the night, but neighbor must have, and tossed and turned in his squeaky bed, then walked around a bit, which of course woke me up.

Bed is a DOUBLE, NOT queen sized bed. Lumpy mattress and squeaky, and the whole set up  jiggled when one of us moved.

Room isn’t very clean…dust on bedside tables, floor hasn’t been swept/vacuumed in a while due to debris/hair on the wood floor. There’s also yellow (pee?) stains on bathroom floor board.

Room heating unit cranks out heat. So much so, we had to turn it off. It would have been nice to have a constant white noise to block out neighbor noise.

Stay Elsewhere

Sometimes you just want to get in and get out.  When we vacation in CO we try to find the perfect place to and from our destinations while we go about our 4 x 4 adventures, and this is it. Great front desk, clean nice room...really.  I just did the work for you.


Good Find

Went for the Rim Rock Matathon and it was the perfect location!  Chic, modern, well designed. Very comfortable beds!  Clean room and hot water!  Excellent breakfast area with a better breakfast than i get at other hotels!  Friendly staff!!!  Would absolutely stay here again when we come back next summer!  Absolutely five stars!!!!!

Perfect Base Camp

Nice newer remodeled rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. We like the older type of motels where you can enter rooms from outside! Nice quality breakfast items were an extra plus. Park to take our dog across the street. Good places to eat and drink a few minutes walk away in cute historic area! Caters to the bikers that frequent the area. Appreciated the laminate floors vs carpet too😊. A few trains in the night but not a big deal .

Can’t say enough good things about this place!

 I really appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms! The toiletries provided were either environmentally conscious or natural. Breakfast items were grab and go, and offered organic/natural. 

Clean, safe, and mindful!

The new owners did a great job with updating and modernizing what appeared to be an older hotel.  Rooms were updated with great flooring and minimalistic modern decor.  We were happy with our stay!   I would say they are a 5 star for VALUE and cleanliness.

No elevator ... so be sure you can climb the steps to the second floor

Great Remodel of the Property

Super modern and clean! Very different from other motels we have stayed at on this trip. Very friendly staff at the desk! There is a coffee maker in the room with a selection of hot beverages to chose from- even decaf coffee! The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve slept on in weeks, being on the road. The only complaints we had were the trains going by and “honking” a few times during the night while we were sleeping and the limited amount of outlets in the rooms. Other than that, you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful!! Bring earplugs if you are used to quiet.

We stayed here one night on a roadtrip and it was such a quaint place, everything from the decorative touches and furniture to the convenient location. Bed did sink in a little when you sat in the middle and pillows were a bit too puffy/hard for my liking, but the room was otherwise very nice. Check-in/check-out was also a breeze.

Lovely for Passing Through

Such great attention to detail. From the welcoming yellow accents and doors to the ceiling fan, this motel oozes charm, convenience, and comfort. They have thought of everything. Luxurious towels and heat lamp in the bathroom, Keurig type coffee machine, Direct TV, and refrigerator - what more could you need? As others have stated, there is no elevator to the second floor which wasn’t a problem for us. Give this clean and quiet little motel a chance!

Clean and quiet with great attention to detail!

We slept in a room with a king-sized bed.  Very comfortable, and the room was clean and looked new.  And the manager helped me to hook up my hybrid car to an outlet to charge it overnight!  Well worth it with the savings over the bigger hotels in the area and no sacrifice in quality.
