We came back, so obviously it isn’t that bad. If you are looking for 5 star then you are in the wrong place.
With that said, if you are looking for comfort and convenience then this is the right place, 5 minutes and you are on the M5, plenty of space to park, it may be a little dated but it’s clean and welcoming. Attached to a pub, but not noisy, and easy access to food and drink.
The staff are friendly and welcoming.
And yes we’ll be back again.

We’ve come back

Stayed for a night. Lovely pub to stay, we enjoyed our room, the dinner was stunning. They have a new dish on the menu, seabass, it was very nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again! 5*


Lovely room, lovely food. 5*

Had trouble getting in as my sister was in a wheel chair, disable access apparently is through the play area which was locked. No turkey roast available as apparently it had all been used on the Sunday, so they were waiting a delivery for roasts lunches even though it was on the menu. Settled for Hunters chicken, too much Barbecue sauce, tiny breast of chicken and chips and peas were cold. Had to ask to get out due to the locked wheelchair access. Very disappointing. One plus apple and berries crumble was very nice. 


Could do better! 

We went for a late lunch on Saturday.  It was busy which was a good sign.  I have mixed feelings about this place, the food was excellent and we both had the lasagna with a side of fries.  That was the good bit.  The bit that was not so good was the general appearance of the place.  Very shabby, stained and torn furniture, badly stained carpets.  Dirty sticky tables.  The attitude of the guy behind the counter was very poor. (C****r you need to develop some customer relation skills). I felt as if he was doing us a favour and practically threw a glass at me when I requested one.  (I’m not of a generation that drinks out of bottles).  Toilet floor was sticky and despite a warning that the water was very hot, it was in fact cold.  Just felt that this place could be really good.  I hate not being positive especially as the menu was good and the food lovely.

Not so good but lovely food.

Reasonably priced for a one night stay and rooms were clean, however the reception area was quite tired and not very well manned. There was also an unpleasant smell in the reception area and hallways that seemed to be coming from the carpet. Found it quite off putting. 

Smelly carpets

Excellent stay. Welcoming and efficient 20% reduction voucher for the hungry horse restaurant (same building). I've been staying here for years. Rooms are excellent. Always have family room. Great value

Bridge Inn. YATTON 

This hotel is so tired - the premises / facilities / buildings management at Greene King Inns are a disgrace. I've uploaded a few photos. 

Who can seriously let their customers even see accommodation in this state, let alone put them in it?

On several occasions the Reception area stank heavily of stale smoke - disgusting.

Ludicrously, in the rooms that they have slightly updated, they have fotted electric heaters (the only form of heating) which are far too small for the room.

My first room was simply too cold, and so was my friends room, and they had exactly the same tiny heater on the wall. Pure incompetence. 

And they had no spare heaters available. No solution - management couldn't care.

1980s - Tired, Cold, Disgusting in places ..

Nice clean but basic rooms, great for an overnight work stay. There is a bar with a variety of drinks and food on offer. The staff are really nice and friendly. No frills but services the purpose for a business stay.

Great value hotel for a business stop over! Nice bar with unbelievable value food and drink. Basic clean and tidy rooms with no frills! Special offers most nights and a great range of beers and wines.

Incredible welcome and value for money in these hard times. Chloe and Mike run a great team. Rooms spotless with a bubbly house keeping team. Would recommend this hotel and look forward to returning x
