Where do I begin... There is one roof window so it couldn't be opened. No table, no chair, no towels, no coffee and brandless tea. The place was so outdated it cried out for repair of the mould and cracks and unprofessionally cut carpets. But carpets haven't been hoovered and the linen were both dated and dirty. At 22:00 the owner's dog sat in front of my door wanting to play with my dog who then started getting nervous, then again at 23:00 hours. It was so bad I actually considered leaving in the middle of the night. 
This was, according to the owner, the "larger" room at £95/night, "bargained" down to 75 for a Wednesday out of season.

A true Fawlty Towers experience

Me & my friend took a day trip to north wales without any bookings . At the end of day we decided to stay so we pulled our car B&B Baytree lodge. Dee was so helpful & show us our rooms . Lovly room bed was so comfortable, nice bathroom. We had a pleasant stay . Brilliant service. We will definitely stay with them again. Brilliant service & reasonable price. Near the town with nice Restaurants

Firstly we were greeted welcomingly . We booked 8 single rooms as a base for Velosity 2 , to get a phone call 1 week before to ask if we could share 4 rooms - we did and were charged £ 100 per room plus a " half " price breakfast £ 5 for a room that was very dated and not worth the money . We were charged nearly double to what the single rooms were

Disappointed

Location of the lodge was the only plus side. Personally I’d rather of slept in the car than in this place. The host was nice but that’s where it ended. I’m sure this place is a half way house, judging by the clientele that was staying there. The breakfast was horrific and don’t even bother with the coffee - You’re better off boiling some sweaty socks in the kettle and drinking the water from that. So all in all, over priced, out dated and a little like the Bates Motel.

You’ll get a better sleep in your car than here

It’s always difficult to know where to stay when you don’t drive. It was about 20 minutes walk to the b&b for the railway station and maybe 12 mins to the high street. We were greeted nicely. We walked to the pier after going shopping for a few things and watched the sunset. It was lovely. It was comfortable for 3 nights and the shower worked really well. I also took advantage of the bath. Always nice to be able to read in a bath. It was quiet. It is  dated and could do with a few updates but I found the bed really comfortable and slept well.

Dated but comfortable

The accommodation was very reasobable for the price. The bed was comfortable the host was friendly and engaging. The room decor needs updating but host informed they do have plans to renovate in the future.

Snowdon walk

Stayed here for 3 nights during one of the hottest weeks of the year. We were given a large room at the front of the hotel and although dated it was exceptionally clean and the bed very comfortable. As it was so hot we slept with the windows open and even though it is on a busy road the noise was minimal.
The owner was very friendly and hospitable. 
Great location, walking distance to all shops and bars and a good base for visiting Anglesey and Llandudno. 
Added bonus of secure off road parking.

Great location and hospitality

A friend and I had to find accommodation one night due to getting our car towed during the day (We had no idea there was a no parking sign where we parked, next to Tryfan Mountain) 

Dee was very accommodating and understanding. Terrific Host. The room was great and breakfast was nice. There is parking in front of the accommodation if you are driving. 

Didn't really have time to enjoy the local amenities as we were exhausted and just wanted to relax after a busy day. There is a local Petrol station if you wanted snacks.

10 out 10 would stay again!

Great hospitality

We can not fault the staff- welcoming and hardworking. Rooms are very clean but very dated. No breakfast was available yet we paid for bed and breakfast. Parking is ok and access to Bangor is a level walk- although the High street is desperate and offers very little to the tourist. The pier and cafe are nice , Tap and Spile pub ok but Anglesey is so near I would suggest keep going and stay there. This B and B is outdated and rather depressing.

Very tired and in need of attention

We had a fabulous stay with Dee and his family . Dee went above and beyond from start to finish . Excellent host . Great rooms . Great location . Would defo return . Book direct through Dee not alternative agents . Top guy . Thank you for a great weekend for me and my friends . Even the taxi service yiu provided for us free of charge
