Pier House

We had a two night stay booked in what we can only think was the best room in the hotel, room 20, and one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. It was on the second floor occupying a corner site with views inland to where the boats are moored and a spectacular view over the harbour and out to sea. The second night we stayed it rained and had 40 mph winds so the waves and spray were spectacular, especially when viewed from the comfort of a nice warm room! We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the staff were outstanding. I currently have difficulty sitting down so they spent time finding me a chair that suited. The breakfast staff were just as friendly and accommodating and the full English was cooked perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pier House Hotel to anyone looking for a tastefully decorated pub/hotel with a good menu and specials board and complimented with friendly and welcoming staff.
