Found this b&b by accident. All I can say is what a find.  I could not fault anything about our stay. Steve and Helen were brilliant hosts.  The COVID measures in place were perfect, lots of sanitiser available and only us in the dining room for breakfast with no cross over of the other guests.  The room was clean and well stocked and as an extra bonus a fridge, complete with milk and water.  Breakfast was amazing and cooked to perfection.  It was great to chat with the hosts who gave us lots of info regarding places of interest nearby. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring the area.

What a gem!

Steve and Helen‘s Beachcroft B&B was the perfect base for exploring the Jurassic coast. Our room was big, comfortable and clean and Steve & Helen were wonderful, warm and friendly hosts. Easy to chat to and lots of helpful information and tips. The breakfast they cooked each morning was delicious with high quality local meats and fresh ingredients. The Covid-19 precautions were also excellent and we felt safe throughout our stay. We would gladly recommend Beachcroft for a relaxing holiday and would happily stay again.

Excellent stay 

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights during the August Bank Holiday weekend and were very happy with our stay. Steve and Helen were very welcoming and friendly, and shared their recommendations for things to do locally. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, comfy bed, and there was a mini fridge in the room with water and milk. Breakfast was a real treat, all well cooked and delicious.

Communication was good throughout, letting us know where to park etc, and were happy for us to arrive early and park up so we could take a walk around town while our room was being prepared. Steve and Helen took covid precautions seriously, such as wrapping cutlery so it hadn't been in contact with anything else before use, and using a separate small table for distance when bringing breakfast out.

Lovely little place, will happily stay here if we're in the area again.

Lovely B&B, very welcoming owners

This is the second time we've stayed at the Beechcroft B&B and we can't recommend it enough. Steve and Helen are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast is excellent. We would highly recommend anyone to stay. 

A wonderful stay in Seaton

This was a great find in a superb location just a short stroll to the marvellous Seaton Beach and seafront.

The B&B is spotlessly clean and adhering to all Covid safety precautions without taking away any of the pleasure of the stay.

Steve and Helen are superb hosts, and genuinely strive to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable with nothing too much trouble.

Breakfast is great, and again the location is perfect for exploring Seaton and nearby Beer and Lyme Regis.

I would also Recommend a trip on the Seaton Tramway.

Welcoming Break

Steve and Helen, the owners have gone the extra mile with regard to Covid precautions, leaving guests thoroughly reassured as to their safety. The room was spotless and a good size and breakfast was really superb, using local produce and nicely cooked. There is free parking directly outside and the beachfront is less than 200m walk. A slightly longer walk ( 5 minutes ) brings you to the town centre shops, bars and restaurants or the marina in the opposite direction. Communication from the booking onwards has been excellent. A really lovely B&B, friendly and cosy. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone wanting to stay in the Seaton or Lyme area.

Stayed here for a weekend while attending the posh pies and pastry course at River Cottage, which is about 10 minutes away in the car. We were welcomed by Steve on arrival and he gave us an amazing amount of information about where to eat and things hubby could do while I was at River Cottage. There is parking at the front of the house for guests. Room was the double, with wardrobe, drawers and ensuite shower room. Clean and cosy, fresh cold bottled water stored in the small fridge on the landing and a there is a guest fridge in the dining room to store whatever you need to. Breakfast was outstanding, locally sourced ingredients and cooked to perfection.  Nothing was too much trouble for Steve. He let us use the dining room in the evening so we could eat the things I had made at River Cottage.  Met the lovely Helen in the evening, she came and sat with us in the dining room while hubby played the guitar and sang. All in all a lovely weekend. We definitely will stay there again. 

Great little B&B close to River Cottage

I chose this b&b because of the previous reviews and they were all correct, This is a special small b&b offering better service, replenished toiletries,tea making with biscuits and  good breakfasts than some expensive hotels I have been to. You even have your own reserved parking space.Steve was also knowledgeable about places to eat and visit. It has been a long time since I have stayed in a b&b but I will certainly try more of them but I feel Steve and Helen have set a standard not many will meet. If I am in the area again I will certainly make a "b" line for the Beachcroft.

Perfect b&b

Nice and clean, comfortable and warm. Quiet for sleeping at night.  Lovely full English breakfast with plenty of options - Steve and Helen were good hosts.  Great location for some lovely walks and beautiful scenery.

Lovely weekend break.

I arrived to Beachcroft B&B on the 21st of Jan 2020 to celebrate my birthday. Steve and Helen were wonderful hosts. On arrival Helen showed my partner and I around the B&B which had lovely décor and was very clean and welcoming. When I saw my room I was delighted with the sea cliff view and the room was lovely and spacious. The B&B itself is literally a few feet away from the seafront, so it was a perfect location. 
I went out for the day with my partner for a lovely coastal walk. When we arrived back at the B&B Helen and Steve had left me a gorgeous birthday card under the door, which was very kind indeed. 
In the morning my partner had a full English breakfast. He said it was cooked to perfection. The sausages and a lot of the produce were sourced from a local butcher. He said the sausages were the best and all the meat and eggs were a very good quality. I asked for a cheese and mushroom omelette for my breakfast, which was delicious.
Steve and Helen were attentive hosts and couldn't have made us feel more welcome.
