What a wonderful place to stay. Brook Nathaniel and their fantastic staff catered for our every need. Great food particularly the steaks and great fun place to stay. We loved it. Great atmosphere and clientèle.

What an amazing week we had.  Although we did not stay in the hotel.  The hospitality of the team were amazing.  Brooke and Nate who run this pub with a first club service.  They are a dynamic duo who made everyone feel home from home from the first day we walked in there.  The friendliness of everyone stood out.   The food was perfection.  Sunday lunch well what can I say.  Picture attached.  Roast lamb fantastic crispy roast potatoes and Yorkshire’s and vegetables and even cauliflower cheese.  This was done by one of the local chefs.  Also Wednesday we had the steak.  Again succulent and  done to order. Cooked to perfection.  All week we are there.  Fish was cooked beautifully.  We also demolished their Kings burger. Pic attached. Karoke was an absolute blast.  Said I would not get up but I did.  Then their is a quiz night.  You have to take part.  Even if you are no good .  The people that we can remember bring this fantastic pub to a high standard are Nate Brooke Sara Jake Caine.  Great times. Would highly recommend.  The local people were also the most friendliest people we have met and gave us great advice for visiting places in Cornwall.  Even down to the pasties.  Thank you to the Kings Arms. Definitely will be returning.

Been working at the docks in Falmouth, the pub is just ten minutes away from town centre and 20 mins from Truro Which is bit more going on shops wise.

Nate and brooks are a million percent, very accommodating.

Great wholesome food, this has become our first choice for our evening meal. Varied menu. Wonderful friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. We have no issues recommending this venue. It’s five stars from us.

On arrival room not ready but soon sorted out. Friendly staff  clean ( to my high standard as I was a housekeeper) great beer but limited real ale just one pump but very well kept beer. Breakfast very well cooked and not than I could eat. Would stay again in a heart beat.

I stayed the night here as I was picking my son up from university.  The welcome from Daisy, the barmaid, was lovely.  I was told where to go and met Annie, the landlady.  The room was spotless and fresh.  I had a room with a shower.  The shower was great.  I parked in the space to the rear of the pub.  I was worried as there are notices about fines for parking, but I was reassured I would not get a fine.  Daisy even text me after she had made sure with Annie.  I felt very looked after.  When I got back to the room, after a meal in Falmouth, I could hear the music from the pub, but it wasn’t massively loud and didn’t bother me at all.  The bed was seriously comfortable.  I usually get a sore back if I sleep somewhere I am not used to, but not this time!  The next morning I had a delicious full English breakfast.  Overall, I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.  If noise bothers you, it may not be for you.  I have been to Glastonbury many times so I can sleep through anything 🙂. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.  

best place in penryn ,near the town of falmouth,very friendly locals, great beer,warm atmosphere,good looking barmaids,would recommend anyone in a unhappy marriage to move in there...your never be alone again

Friendly staff, very spacious room with everything you would need,bed was so so comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, will definitely make this my base when I visit Cornwall again, well done to all at the kings arms hotel,(proper job)lol

You get what you pay for in the rooms but you get more in the service, you feel part of a family. The rooms are comfy, warm, cosy and great. Yes there's a shared bathroom but that is super clean and well kept and like a house. There's a lovely bar downstairs, earplugs are provided but the bar is responsible and you wont hear it when trying to sleep. The beds are comfy, the staff are amazing and welcoming. You get what you pay for and more here. Yes the fact you don't have 24 hour access to your room can be restrictive but it's fully advertised before you book and I mean really isn't an issue in practice. Drinks well priced, did I mention a great bar downstairs?! Would not hesitate to book again!! Can't wait to come back, hope you will have me again!
