Great hotel, food was lovely, check in was easy, staff were pleasant, no noise in the rooms, room got chilly at night but radiator heated up quick, tv remote didn’t really work well but it was useable 

Very pleasant, great value for money, comfortable atmosphere

We stayed for five nights as my wife was due to have an eye operation at Vision Scotland. After the operation she needed to rest and the staff arranged for meals to be brought to our room. All the staff were exceedingly helpful and charming. Of particular mention was the tall duty manager whose name I believed was John. The staff are a credit to the company. The room was comfortable, well equipped and quiet despite being close to the airport.

Great stay all so easy when you pre book and the staff were very helpful. Convenient location as well. Recommend this place as the price was also pretty reasonable as well. 
It’s obviously away from the action but if you use Uber it doesn’t take long to get into town

Edinburgh stop over

Typical Travelodge but okay if you have an early flight. Absolutely nothing else in the area so had to eat in the Travelodge cafe/bar, staff were nice but food quality very limited and bar prices expensive.

Close to airport but £20 taxi fare was expensive for a 10 min journey. Room was clean and comfy and very helpful staff. Tea and coffee in room and tv. We got a free shuttle bus from  The Bridge Inn for dinner.

my second stay at Ratho Station .this is a very clean and quite hotel which I will use again in the future. It has helpfull staff and easy transport links to Edinburgh. Travelling to the hotel from the airport is easy

If you are looking for a cheap but wonderful stay this is the hotel it’s situated right next to the airport so easy to grab a cab it cost us £20 for a 7 seater the staff are wonderful and very helpful, the only thing I would say that is a not so great experience is that the wait time on an evening for a meal was a bit longer than we had expected but it was very busy so can’t be helped breakfast was help yourself and was more than enough to make up for the evening meals 

Wonderful stay

I had booked the wrong night for an overnight stay for 2 rooms. When I phoned to change the date I was charged more than the rate of each room. I will be submitting a formal complaint as the hotel was not that busy. Our room had no hand wash and the food was not that great. Overall it was not a great stay and wouldn’t stay again 

Overcharged and beds are very small.

This may sound strange however it is true. On arrival we were welcomed by a big hairy cat who gets called “sir” apparently. The cat was lay out over the reception desk which we thought to be strange. There was no receptionist there for a good 5 mins, just a big hairy cat. When the receptionist arrived it was all a bit strange. She introduced us to her cat and told us he gets called “sir” as he is the man of the house or something very bizarre like that. Me and my partner looked at each other as she continued checking us in over the top of this cat. Then gave us the key to our room and just walked away. I have an allergy to cats which isn’t good. I don’t even know what else to say apart from this was the most surreal experience ever. The fact this is a chain of hotels and not private, it was all just a bit strange.

Unfortunately, sometimes a Travelodge makes sense. You know it's going to be crap, but you just accept it for whatever reasons. 
This one was a bit more crap than some others because the breakfast had been destroyed before serving.
It's saving grace was a wonderful lady who seemed to be doing everything - reception, bar, seating people in the eating area (except cooking breakfast)
