Popped in for a quick pint and found the Guinness to be good as usual. However, the barman showed a great skill of actually not talking at all during the ordering process. “Guinness please” which was subsequently poured, cash machine then brought over, then swiped and I left.  Not seen him before so maybe some customer training required 🤔.

A lovely overnight stay, warm and very clean room. Very welcoming, good atmosphere. Did not eat but food did smell lovely. We made requests regarding the room which were accomodated. Far more character than a Premier Inn. Happy to recommend, thanks for a smashing stay. 

Lovely December stay

This was our second stay in this little gem of a hotel and this time we brought our friends with us.
We all had the best time!

There is nothing not to like about this hotel. Its location is perfect to access the town centre and all amenities. The rooms are small but perfectly functional, with everything you need for a cost effective and extremely comfortable stay.  

As soon as you walk in you feel the warmth of the welcome warm and the vibrant atmosphere. The staff team are all so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble and the service is excellent.

The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced for what we had. I can highly recommend the Goan fish curry and the cocktails are superb! 

A lovely hotel, it’s not posh and it’s not  pretentious, which suited us to a tee! 
Looking forward to the next time.

If you want a quick tasty and value for money indian meal then you can’t beat the Harboro Arms. We use the pub quite a bit early doors have not been disappointed with the quality of food.  The staff are very friendly as well and so would recommend to anyone.

Early eve indian meal

We called for dinner before going on to the cinema and we had risotto, lasagne and a lovely nut roast followed by delicious puddings.  Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.  Melton gave us a very enjoyable evening and we will be back!

Good food for all the party.

Today we had the best Christmas dinner ever. 
The selection of meat along with the friendly service made for a perfect day. 
After we were invited for a drink at the bar and made to feel part of ty family. 
Would recommend everyone gives it a try.
10/10 for food and service.

The room was very clean, and bathroom was very nice had plenty of towels, Excellent hosting skills from Sophie who seems to manage the booking of the rooms........ to cooking a fabulous breakfast has excellent hosting skills. The bar staff were very helpful as we had booked a business Christmas dinner in the evening the food was good value.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and well priced, we had breakfast and a 2 course evening meal. I would recommend The Harboro Hotel as a restaurant. However, as a hotel, I couldn't recommend.
Although they've spent money doing up the bathrooms, if you are over 5' 8 you'll not fit under the shower which was pretty appalling for my partner. The corridor need a big face lift and the walls are so thin you hear everything... snoring, kids screaming at 7am. The bed however was definitely the worst part of our stay. For the two nights, my partner and I barely got a couple of hours sleep. We are both young and woke up in agony. The mattress was rock solid and unbareable. If you're looking for comfort and a good night sleep, look elsewhere which is unfortunate as it has good potential. 

Restaurant lovely, bedroom very poor. 

This place is the best Sunday Carvery in the Midlands, all very fresh products, great choice of meats, and a fantastic price, will return again and again........ this place is spot on.... and is packed every Sunday....
