Arrived at Britannia House in the late afternoon. We were running late due to traffic issues, however Tobi the owner and host came round immediately to meet us and show us around. Extremely friendly, courteous welcome and great introduction to the house and the area. We benefited from his local knowledge in relation to restaurants and amenities. He was chatty and helpful. We loved the house. The rooms are comfortable, clean and welcoming. It has history and individuality, which we really enjoyed. The first floor lounge was really comfortable and the lamps and sofas gave a cosy ambience in the evening after a full day's adventures!
Breakfast, cooked by Tobi was delicious with fresh ingredients. We really enjoyed chatting with him over breakfast. The personal touch and obviously genuine engagement was refreshing in an age of corporate conformity and " computer says no" approach to guest relations in many cases. Overall, a cracking find! 👌 
Location fantastic, great to come back to each evening.  Would happily return.

Three days of restful escape...

Tobi was a great host and made us feel very welcome and at home as soon as we arrived. Our upstairs room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the cookies Tobi's daughter made were delicious.

Located within walking distance of the harbour and high street made it the perfect location. Tobi recommended several restaurants for dinner and places to visit and even suggested a few tapas bars for our upcoming trip to Seville!

We'll definitely stay at Britannia House again next time we visit Lymington!

Lovely stay in Lymington

This was my second time staying at Brittania House. It is very comfortable and conveniently located. Many good restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and it is a great location to stay for onward travel to other locations. London is less than two hours away by train, and there are many towns and villages to explore nearby. Tobi is an excellent host. I will be back again sometime.

Excellent Stay

The location was excellent , the house felt like home and Tobias topped it off with his excellent breakfast and warm welcome. The restaurants that he recommended on his website were first class. I you are looking to make a stay in the New Forest would highly advise that you book this .

The best guest hotel you need.

Stay at Britannia House recently to visit Beaulieu autojumble and what a good find it was.
Our host Tobias was fabulous, so friendly & helpful.
Our room was clean with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Tobias cooked breakfast fresh each morning which was tasty.
Location is great and close to the marina, restaurants & shops.
Will stay again if visiting the area.

Our host Tobi, was so welcoming, the hotel is perfectly situated to discover the delights of Lymington,  the rooms are spacious with all the facilities you would expect, Tobi provided the most delicious breakfast and his knowledge of local restaurants and places to visit was extremely helpful, we will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel and the perfect host Tobias

Booked for a two night stay.
Arrived from London via train, the location was perfect.
Across the street from Lymington Town station and in excellent walking distance to the quay, marina and high street. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. We loved the ease of no hassle traveling.
Tobias the host made us so welcome it felt home from home.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and welcoming attention to detail was perfect.
Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice from cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt to a perfectly cooked  full English breakfast.
We would definitely return and would recommend the Britannia house to all.

Excellent perfectly situated guest house 

What a wonderful few days we have had staying at Britannia House. From the moment we booked till we left to come home Tobi has been the most attentive host. A warm welcome, beautifully clean room and a good selection at breakfast made for a great stay. Would thoroughly recommend for a trip to Lymington and the New Forest. Also ideally situated for the Isle of Wight ferry and the train station. Thank you Tobi.
