I have stayed at most of the hotels/b&bs in Louth and fell that the Beaumont offers excellent value for money. We were given a very warm welcome and our comfort during our stay was clearly a priority for the owners. The room was very comfortable, exceptionally clean and very well appointed with new modern furniture. Large car park and access. The whole building is well looked after and I will definitely return. It is worth bearing in mind that this is a personally run hotel so it is courteous to bear this in mind and email ahead with your arrival time and to appreciate that this is reflected in the price. There is no breakfast served but Louth is awash with cafes to make your own choice. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic value for money.

They were very accommodating during my visit and kind. They let me stay over the checkout time as I had an interview, I thought this was generous of them and really helped me be able to focus on prep for my interview. Would definitely stay again

Don’t stay here! You will not believe this!

I raced to get there on time as the checkin closed at 20:00.

I was tight but arrived at 19:58, bounced out the car and had been at the front door at 19:59. It was closed and the staff had gone before I had even driven in. Well before 20:00!

I have attached my arrival time photo just to proof a point. 😱😂 The staffs taxis had already left.
The owner was angry I had rang the bell because she had covid and because I had not read a text the staff had sent me at 19:37, I assume this is when they left? I explained I was driving so could not have read it. The sign said ring the door bell?
I will not give you all the details because it was a crazy conversation, but she basically said she was sick of people leaving her bad reviews so would credit my booking.com (so I could not leave her another bad review) and chucked my bags out the hotel. 🙈 unreally experience.

Don’t stay here and if you have to, make sure you arrive early.

Spot on quiet place about big room comfy bed was a nice stay not to far away from town centre around 10 minutes walk maybe less shop across the road and a pub around the corner food was nice in there

The picture on the website does not do it justice.   There is a small mature garden at the front which provides a nice introduction to the hotel.  Once inside it is spotlessly clean - as are the the rooms- and it looks as though it has been decorated, recently, throughout.  The lady who greeted us on arrival was very nice and we chatted about our favourite author for several minutes.  The rooms we were in were beautiful and the beds were extremely comfortable.  I love crisp white bed linen; the beds were made up perfectly with this. We stayed for two nights; this turned out to be the two hottest nights of the entire year but oscillating fans were provided in each room and they made all the difference.  Plenty of tea and coffee provided and refilled in the morning. Bathrooms, again , were spotless.  The hotel does not provide food so make sure   you have looked up some restaurants before travelling. There are supermarkets not far away nut on the first evening we too a 20 minute drive to Mablethorpe and the local fish and chip shop.  The beach there is beautiful by the way.  I would recommend this for short stays certainly.  

A pleasant surprise.

I stayed at the Beaumont recently for work. The host was very accommodating and the room was lovely. Everything was clean and tidy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/colleagues.

My stay

This place calls itself a hotel, but it is not, it is a room for the night and that is all, there are no staff, except for one acerbic old woman with the attitude of a bear chewing a wasp.The hotel is dark and dingy with walls covered in a4 printed sheets on the do,s and don't,s of this most unwelcoming of places, So much wiser to pay a few more pounds to stop at a more welcoming and properly run hotel, to stay at this place you are certain to have an experience you will not believe?

Sadly having stayed in hotels the world over this one is by any measure the worst

Stayed New years Eve for one night.
The host was very welcoming, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable and free parking. What more could you ask for.
If I'm in the area, I will definitely stay again

Lovely hotel

The door was opened by a woman I assume was the proprietor. A very strange experience indeed. No pleasantries at all and very rude. She immediately told me I would need to key in some numbers for the combination lock on the front door to get in when I return later. When I went to write the numbers in my phone she said she guessed I would be the sort with no maths skills. I was certainly taken aback by her offensive and insulting behaviour. I wondered if she was a bit crazy. 
She then showed me the combination lock and told me I needed to try it. I did this several times but it didn't work. She said she didn't know why, but in fact she knew very well indeed. After a few more goes it worked once by luck. Only then did she show me it was necessary to push the handle with a couple of fingers beyond where it naturally stopped at the point your hand hit the door frame. 
Her strange resentful attitude convinced me I was dealing with someone a bit unhinged. Fortunately, I had no other contact with her or anyone else for that matter as I had prepaid and this hotel doesn't provide breakfast.  The hotel itself I found depressing, I would compare the atmosphere to that of a funeral parlour. 
My advice to anyone contemplating staying at this place is to spare yourself.

A  very unpleasant experience

Don’t stay at the Beaumont awful 
We arrived early and parked up. Out of courtesy we wanted to check that we were ok to park in the car park and come back later for check in as we were 45 minutes early. 
My partner went to the front door and pressed the bell. He tried to explain that he wanted to check it was ok to park in the car park and we would return at the allocated check in time. However was greeted via the speaker with a rude tone stating ‘I will just come down give me a minute’. 

My partner was then told the room was booked under another name. Disorganised and incorrect details insinuating that we had booked it under a different name. 

The owner also stated on the first interaction that I was lucky she was available as she had just finished her lunch. 

After gathering our belongings we headed to the room. After several failed attempts of trying to unlock the front door. We needed further assistance. 

The owner on the second interaction after failing to open the door was informed that i would give her indigestion for interrupting her food. She then proceeded to explain that she used to be a teacher and knows how disrespectful young people are. 

We then attempted to open the door using the code and we’re told we hadn’t pressed the numbers for it to unlock even though we did. Basically the lock needs replacing and the instructions on turning the handle need explaining better as the door is very stiff and rigid. It’s hazardous and could cause somebody an injury with how far you have to turn the handle for it to eventually unlock. 

Customer service stinks and requires much improvement. Hopefully you don’t go on four in a bed as you wouldn’t do very well. 

Also if you’re an ex teacher you should know what disrespectful means and should take a look at yourself before stating customers who were rather respectful and polite are.
