I can genuinely say we will definitely stay on the Little Larnick Farm again. In fact, I can't wait. Little Larnick Farm is beautifully nee serenely quiet, situated only a few miles north of Talland Bay. We stayed in a well thought out barn conversion that has a lot of attention to detail and with all the charm you can imagine from a host that has taken great care to give her guests a warm, tranquil experience, with quaint little touches such as Laura Ashley cups and even a china teapot (English made of course). If an authentic oldy worldy stay is your thing, then Little Larnick is for you. Oh, and the plentiful breakfast. We went for the full english breakfast (both days of course, and served on English china) and it was delicious. All together, our stay was the best we have had anywhere as far back as I can remember. All together, we highly recommend Anglela and the Little Larnick Farm.

A very enjoyable, warm, tranquil, stay with a lovely host in a converted barn.

Stayed with our three teenage children. We had been camping and needed a refuge night away from rain! The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating to us. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

It was pure luxury! Such spacious, bright and comfortable rooms. We all had a wonderful stay, slept so well, incredible breakfast and will definitely be back!

We have been staying at Little Larnick Farm on and off for the last 31 years.  The rooms have always been immaculately clean, the hosts very frendly and knowledgeable about the area.  Breakfasts are great - made to order.  The farm is situated 2 to 3 miles off the main road and accessible via the typical narrow Cornish track/roads.  Once at the farm it is extremely peaceful.  We stayed in a converted barn next to the farmhouse.  We will defintiely be returning again.  

Superb Barn Conversion Accommodation in the Cornish Countryside

Everything about this accommodation was perfect. The hosts are lovely, the room clean, spacious and well furnished with large bathroom. It was a perfect location for visiting the picturesque towns and villages.

Has one of the best nights sleep ever here.  What a beautiful bnb, everything you want in the deep and peaceful countryside of Cornwall. Far into the farmland, you won't have heard silence like this for a while,  close to all the lovely destinations,  lovely breakfast and thoughtful kind hosts, lots of privacy. Just loved it  thank you. 

Beautiful place to stay

We inadvertently stumbled across Little Larnick way back in 2001 and have been returning regularly ever since. For us, it's Paradise. Idyllic, somewhat lost in time in a good way. Peaceful, beautiful unspoilt views. The only sounds from twittering swallows in the summer and the odd tractor or bellowing cow. Heaven!
Just perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Our hosts, Angela and Bernard, are extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to give local advice on places to eat and visit. The breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and delicious.........Highly Recommended!!

Superb rural location! Wonderful accommodation. Wonderful Hosts. The best breakfasts. What's not to like!

I've been twice down to Little Larnick Farm and I love it and will go back again.  The situation of the farm is really beautiful, miles away from any main roads and so perfectly quiet and still except for the choir of birds you can always hear.  Both the self-catering cottages and the b&b are situated on the farm which is beautifully kept, neat and tidy with pictureseque farm yard, fields with cattle in the right months, lovely Cornish hedgerows and fresh air and silent nights with star-filled skies.  This visit was in the B&B and I had the best night's sleep I have had for years.  It is very cozy and comfortable, warm, spotlessly clean and has everything you could wish for.  Breakfast was delicious in the traditional farmhouse and a real treat to be welcomed by such comfort and kindness.  The farm is a very short driving distance to the wonderful fishing villages of Looe and Polperro, with miles of walks all around.  This is a very special place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Perfectly cozy comfort, wonderful views, deep in the Cornish countryside, silent nights on a lovely farm

My husband and I have just returned from our almost 2 week stay, which was our 6th visit to Little Larnick Farm B&B. The farm really is just the perfect place to stay - clean, well presented rooms, breakfast to die for and the wonderful hosts Angela & Bernard. The setting is very quiet and peaceful, but also a great location to go and explore the surrounding areas, you can feel yourself relax as soon as you get there. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and every last detail has been meticulously thought out, there really is nothing more they could add to this gorgeous place. You're made to feel like you're part of the family and this time round my husband was able to go and look round the farm with Bernard and also to help look after Rusty the farm dog. Thank you both so much for our wonderful stay, see you next year xxx

Just Perfect

We’d booked to arrive at 6pm, but were well ahead of time, so called ahead to check if it was okay to arrive at 3pm instead. Absolutely no problem at all, which really set the standard from there. Wonderfully friendly, helpful hosts. Rusty the farm dog, he likes to bark as you leave, not when you arrive!! He’s very friendly. We were in The Hayloft, so we had a breakfast basket in our room which was replenished each day. Yoghurt, fresh fruit, orange juice, water, jug of milk, variety of cereals - honestly it was more than we needed. Our room was incredibly spacious, as was the bathroom.  Shower was fine, plenty of hot water. I say that, because friends staying down in Looe were advised by their hosts to not spend too long in the shower, otherwise there wouldn’t be enough hot water for the other guests! It’s a bit of a way out of Looe, 2.5 miles by foot, 4 miles by car - we chose to walk into Looe on our first night, which the lady of the house shared the route with us. Took us about an hour to walk in - beautiful walk in along the river. If you don’t fancy the walk back, probably best to book a taxi in advance, we tried to get a taxi at 9.30 in the evening, but the earliest we could get was 11. So ended up walking back, which was fine, but it is uphill in places.  All in all, a truly lovely place to stay, roads a little narrow, but wouldn’t stop us returning - would highly recommend this working farm to stay at - it’s a perfect base to explore.  Truly hope we get to go back, I’ve never been so chilled as I was after returning from here.

Perfect place to stay - ideal base for exploring Cornwall

For some reason I forgot to submit a review after our stay in July. We had a four night break and stayed in the Apple Loft room which is in the farmhouse and was very comfortable. The breakfast had great choices and was excellent. The location, as others have said, is off the beaten track but this means its really peaceful and tranquil.We could see the cows just outside our window and go for a quite walk down the lane. The B and B is very clean and well looked after by a lovely and welcoming family and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
