Lovely restaurant, very quaint and beautifully painted.  The staff were very nice and helpful.. The wine was a great bottle of Rose.  My starter vegetable soup and main course peppered chicken were not to my liking they were far too salty in the taste.  My partner had hummus and lamb which he thought were both okay.  There was no tiramisu so we both had a slice of cake from the display case - one was delicious and one was slightly stale. Looked like a beautiful hotel and so convenient for walking around London.

Dinner booking

Super friendly people. Persian food is new to me and a great hit.  Tried dolme starter and a lamb stew (can't remember the name) and both were top notch. Very tasty and still full an hour later. Proper hospitality.

Rose garden at the London elizabeth

Travelled to London with a group of ladies for a birthday celebration, booked here for the afternoon tea. Warm welcome on arrival, afternoon tea excellent value for the price, staff very efficient and with a smile. Small cake with candles (surprise - although I did mention when booking it was a special birthday). Busy at 4pm on a Saturday with others having meals which also looked good and generous sized portions. Located just an  8 minute walk to Paddington station. Would definitely return here, thank you to the staff for making it a lovely afternoon.

Afternoon for a birthday

Pros: Good location,good price,good staff 
Cons: Everything is very old,dated, the heating aystem is not working all the time, windows are kind of broken ( you can see the drapes moving around because of the wind ), breakfast is increadibly poor.
As I said, the staff is doing their best but without some investements this is not more than a 2,5 star hotel.

Very good value for where you are located in London, very central.



Short break

London elizabeth hotel is a place of character and uniqueness. Although its in the heart of london. Hyde park location is the best point. Breakfast come with cold choices and if you want hot breakfast you can order it. Maria at the reception is very helpful as she helped us to get around london and made our stay memorable to city break. Kudos to the manager who reply to our emails query and handle our request efficiently. If you are looking for modern hotel london elizabeth hotel is not it has is own charm and its different, we will recommend this hotel for its management and staff.

“Small hotel with good character and staff”

Our stay there was wonderful! Great location, easy access to the public transportation. The room was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, receptionist Niki gave us a very warm welcome and arranged some excellent directions for us. Definitely recommend!

Very enjoyable stay

" i must say hotel is in the heart of london with amazing views of hyde park. Its a hotel with character and staff tries above and beyond to make your stay confortable. Specially manager keke. Its a hotel which needs a face lift and refurb but it has his own delight aswell.'  Will return in july again.

A hotel with character

If You are searching place where to rest between sightseening around London with good price, this is perfect for You. We had great week in this place.
Location is great - tube station in front of the hotel, also bus stop. Paddington train station not far. Walk throw the Kensington park (about 15 min) to visit V&A museum or Science museum, etc
Beds are very comfortable and in 4th floor busy traffic at the street didn't bother us at all.
Yes, this hotel has its downs: the floors are old and they are not even, so if you have troubles with walking or cant be without heightheels, this is not for you.
If you want to spend most of the day in bed having loud sex, this hotel is not for you because the door is not soundproof.
If you are more like five star plastic kinda person, this in not right choise for you. Its clean and cozy but in oldfashioned way with rose curtains down to the floor and tiny elevator.
Only real fault for me was the low pressure and low temperature of the water. It was hard to wash hair in shower. Maybe the temperature was low because the cold weather.

Exellent hotel for resting after busy day in town

If a dated hotel with mice running round your room is right up your street then this is the place for you!!!

Was meant to be staying for two nights and checked out after one. Disgusting!

Can quite honestly say I have never once had a mouse in my hotel room. Well I can tick that one off my list!!
