Stayed here for a beautiful wedding. The venue for the wedding ceremony was lovely and well presented.
Rooms were comfy with air con and breakfast had a good selection!

Rooms are old and tired but prices accordingly. Sheets were clean as were the rooms. If you are wanting more modern then look elsewhere and pay the additional money. We went to watch football and was fine for a decamp after a long day....

Oh dear

We booked here after a last minute change of plan... thank our lucky stars it was only one night. We checked in to a very musky/damp smell but left the window cracked and headed straight out again. It was only when we got back in the evening that we were able to take in the full horrors...

An overriding horrid damp smell. Mouldy and cracked bathroom tiles. Mouldy shower. Stained bedsheets. Dirty walls. We were left a little electric heater as during check in we were told the heating was off and still warming up. 

Will not be returning to this hotel.

Stay away

Booked a room for the night at the last minute. What an awful place. 
I cannot get hold of them to obtain a refund, I don’t think anyone should have to pay to stay here. 

We checked in, put our bags in the room and left quickly afterwards to attend an event close by. When we finally returned to go to bed we took in the full extent of the place. Just awful. Everything was wrong with it.  Don’t stay here!

Disgusting!

We stayed here for a base as we had an awards ceremony and needed somewhere to crash so booked it last minute.
We didn’t check trip advisor prior to booking big mistake yes there is free parking and it’s only 5 minutes for Liverpool centre but it is very dated. On arrival we could tell it was old and was in need of a refurb the receptionist was lovely and she showed us to our room and then quickly disappeared she didn’t ask if it was okay. It smelt like there had been cats in there and it hadn’t been cleaned in years the double bed was tiny with an old dirty sheet around the bottom down the side of the corner of the bed smelt so bad. The carpets was filthy the walls had dirty stains on them. There was also two very worn leather room we tried to work the tv but it wasn’t working. The smell was that bad we ended up leaving the hotel at 6 am it was just so filthy, smelly we didn’t even want to walk bare foot on the carpet. I can’t believe they get away with  charging £80 it’s shocking.

I was disappointed with the state of the hotel in both the bedroom and the bathroom. The sheets surrounding the bed were dirty, and can be seen in one of the pictures attached.

In addition to this, there was mould in the bathroom along the tiling. This can also be seen in the other photo attached.

The lovely people who run this hotel do everything to make you feel at home. And that’s enough for a short, functional stay. Unfortunately the building has seen better days and there are some ‘comforts’ that we have grown accustomed to that aren’t there: shower gel in the room (though there was a hand wash pump), enough plugs for charging, that sort of thing. A huge plus is the onsite parking - it’s a bit limited and you couldn’t fit a very large car in the gate, I think, though I didn’t try. 

It will fulfil your needs - not all of them but enough. Certainly breakfast, which was very good.

Faded chic

Took our daughter over to Liverpool on the boat, booked Green Park Hotel as convenient to Hope University. Checked in lovely receptionist, booked into room, room was damp and smelled off mould, carpet dirty, I wouldn't even take off my shoes !! Tiles in Shower Mould, TV wouldn't work, Receptionist tried about 6 remote controls to no avail, bed was clean, Just glad we only staying the one night.

Shabby to say the least! No toiletries and I would expect that for the price! On approach to the rooms , they have a dorm like feel to them!! Bed too hard as were the pillows! Windows propped open with folded card! Thankfully only there for one night! Cash only bar, in this day and age!!! We got back from a concert thirsty and had to scratch together coins to be able to share a drink!!!!Certainly not worth anywhere near £80 a night!
