Stayed with family. The several flights of stairs never bothered me, but the hairs in the bed, non-working heaters and radiators, and very rude reception staff really made this a place to get out of very quickly. Had my one year old with me in less than 16 Celsius temperatures and with several women’s hairs in bed (see pic!) Complained to reception guy and was given a shirty response - told a refund was out of the question as I didn’t report the broken heating at 2am! Cooker extractor fan didn’t work and with only one window that opens, the fire alarm goes off every time you cook anything. Builders drilling all day outside property. Nightmare. Would have slept better staying in Chester Zoo! I’m sure it’s cleaner there too!

Unclean, No Heating and Rude Reception Staff

Not the best but certainly not the worst. 
Should have been warned about the stairs but I guess its exercise to work the beer off lol 
Rooms a little dated & a few tiles missing here & there but was warm, comfy, staff were great checking if we needed more towels etc or rubbish removing. 
We had a fabulous weekend & all in all it wasnt bad at all!!

Hen do!

So I been reading the reviews after booking and thought God where am I going too! By the sounds of what you read you think you are going to a horror house!

So there are positives and negatives however the negatives do not take over the positives. 

Bad:
1. You should be warned about the stairs, alot of them and very steep (no lift(
2. Yea it dated and could do with updating however everything in working order.
3. The drains smelt a little in the morning. 

Good:
1. Staff so friendly, could not do more to help. 
2 clean it was very clean, cleaners was finishing mopping stairs as we arrived. On the Saturday the cleaner knocked on asked if we needed clean towels and if we had any rubbish for them to remove. 
3. Location was spot on, you pay for the location (I would book again).
4. Read they hold your money for ages, we checked out Sunday and now on Thursday and money is back in.

Overall group of 14 girls and we had an absolute ball.

Hen do signature living apartment, apartment 14

I stayed at arptment 13 on Sunday 14th October the arptment was rotten dirty Rios on sofa I was not told about any mini bar as previously stayed in the same apartments and there was no mini bar I thought someone had left drinks from previous stay they have taken 66 pound for a few can of coke and water how is this acceptable if they would of informed I wouldn't of drank them could of bought a months supply of cans for 66 pound wont be staying anymore absolutely rip off

Stayed the last weekend in September in apartment 13 Matthew street and couldn’t fault to location! The stairs to the apartment look like it hasnt been cleaned in years and the apartment was not very clean and the finish was not great the ceiling was yellow, old heaters had marks all over them. Kitchen cupboards were awful the black front had come off so the wood underneath was visible. Rips in the leather window seat! The jacuzzi didn’t work correctly showers were poor and bedding that was supposed to be white was yellow! It just needs a good deep clean and attention to detail and it would be a great place to stay! Just not worth the money

Not as described

How anybody could have ever written anything good about this place is beyond me. The only thing good is the location. Staff are vile, rooms are filthy and the security, what security?

Random drug dealers walking into our room while getting changed!!

The places hasn't had a proper clean in years! We arrived to Dirty dishes in the sink and dirty bed sheets. The carpet has never, ever seen a hoover!

We were locked out most of our first night and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to let us in due to the key pad not working.

I travel all over with my work and this is by far one of the worse places I have ever stayed!

Avoid at all costs!!!!

We visted as a hen party. Firstly we had booked make up with them and they had double booked and tried to cancel us 5 days before so we had to change arrangement to suit there times. The place was not clean one of the girls actually asked for a Hoover to clean the dirt off the floors. We were not told about steps and there was older people with us also me who has ms had to walk 5 flights of stairs to our room as there was no lift. We only had one key between 15 of us and they refused to give us another key. The Windows opened to a pane of glass so no point in them being there and the place was like a sweat box because of this. The one window that did open looked out onto rubbish, dirty boxers and knickers. See picture below. I would never stay again nothing like what it was made out to be a didn't help with any of the problems we had  complete joke of a company 

Hen Party

I booked a superior quad room for my wedding anniversary, having read the negative reviews I was worried the room would be awful. However on arrival we where greeted by friendly welcoming staff and the room was large and clean. Needless to say myself and my husband where more than happy to spend the night. I noticed early on that I could clearly hear a conversation from the room next door. Thinking nothing of it we enjoyed our evening in the city centre (hotel is a fantastic location). Upon returning the room next door was having a party. The walls are extremely thin the party my as well of been in our own room. Come 1am we had enough and decided to leave. When checking out the member of staff on the desk offered to go up and ask them to quieten down but the walls are so thin even if music was turned off and voices lowered I knew I would still be able to hear them and therefore unable to sleep. I am aware the hotel is popular with hens and stag but thought we would be ok on a wednesday. 
Such a shame we never slept if we had of had a good nights sleep I would of rated it 4* but having paid for a room I never slept it I couldnt rate it any higher than 2*

1am check out

5 friends travelling to see Liverpools match in the Champions league, absolutly nothing to complain, friendly service by all personell,  clean room , good facilities. Overall a great experience.can warmly recomend.

Football trip

I stayed in apartment 14 recently with a group of friends and from the moment we first arrived I was instantly disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment. The floors were extremely sticky and dirty, so much so that I had to keep my shoes on at all times, everything was thick with dirt and dust especially the windows and skirting boards, the ‘jacuzzi bath’ was filthy and had slimy black grime coming from the jets and plug hole, we found an opened condom in the bedroom, the bedding was stained and overall the whole place looked rundown with peeling wallpaper, broken tiles, stained walls etc. 

As well as this we found the ‘amenities’ were very basic and/or broken! The iron did not work and just leaked water everywhere, there was only enough hot water for one person to have a shower, the hairdryer kept overheating and failing to work and considering the apartment sleeps 16 there were only 12 seats around the table in the kitchen! 

The worst thing about our stay though was how unsafe we felt! We were given a code when we first arrived to access the door and stairs to the apartments, the hotel reception looked lovely so we had high hopes but the door to access our apartment was actually down a back alley surrounded by homeless people who stared at us whilst we entered the code. Once settled and unpacked we went out into Liverpool for some food and when we got back the door just opened without needing to enter a code which meant anyone could have just got in off the street! Over the next few days the door code was changed without them notifying us several times and at one point we found 3 men hanging around on the stairs and outside our apartment! 

Overall this place is disgusting, unsafe and a complete waste of money!
