Stayed here for 2 nights this weekend (22/10/21 - 24/10/21), contactless check in was super easy, lovely call from Helen a couple of days before to go over checking in procedures. Really easy to find and perfect central location so city centre was within easy walking distance. Room was small but clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable and cosy. 

My only con is that the shower cubicle was a little small so was a bit awkward to manoeuvre but was a nice hot shower so it was okay!

Parking permits available for £3 per day and with the city centre so close we just parked up for our whole stay so it was perfect! 

Would definitely stay here again!

Cosy little guesthouse

My daughter and I stayed for four nights in a twin room on the second floor.  Due to the COVID restrictions everything was completed remotely, including picking up the key and parking permits from the lock safe.  

The guesthouse is in a central location, clean and presented well.  We could not have breakfast (again due to COVID-19 restrictions), but tea and coffee was available in the room. The parking permits were reasonable, and we managed to park close by as and when needed.

Being on the main road, you heard lots of traffic noise, and the noise from people walking past.  As such it was impossible to leave the windows open at night.

Things to note, the stairs are steep and a difficult climb if you have any difficulty with walking or balance.  The bathroom although spotlessly clean is a tight squeeze.

Would we stay here again? Yes despite the cons, the location was perfect for us.

A tight squeeze

What a find. Lovely host. Great room. Parking outside with purchased permit. Fantastic  breakfast. A 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Exeter. Would definitively stay here again in the future. Three of us stayed for a night.

Overnight stay

We spent one night here on our way to north Devon, and the B&B is perfectly located near the train station and city. The only drawback was the noise from outside because it's on a big road. But it's a beautiful house with lovely rooms, well decorated, breakfast was great, the hosts were friendly.
We had a shared bathroom, which wasn't too bad for just one night, but it was one floor down (we were on the top floor). But there was a separate toilet opposite our room. All in all, a good stay.

Nice and clean B&B, close to the city

Spent two nights here last week. It’s a decent B&B very close to the city centre. The rooms are clean and are spacious enough - although our bathroom was a bit of a squeeze! The only small issue for us was being on the main road, which meant there was a fair amount of traffic noise. We also had to park around the corner but that wasn’t too bad as we were given a permit by the owners which was much appreciated.

Clive and Linda are very friendly hosts and didn't really need to trouble them for anything we required
We stayed here this week for 3nights-a family of 4adults with our 2yr old...they were very friendly and accommodating...The rooms and lovely, well decorated English rooms and very fresh and clean. T.V in good working order but we never switched it on, plenty of hangers for coats and clothes and ample supply of tea coffee and milk..
Very comfortable and definately value for money.
The guesthouse is set over 3 floors and is well worth the stay... thanks for having us stay with you

Small things to note: it's not fully sound proof and also had stairs leading upto 3 floors of rooms, however, it is a lovely home to be in and very centrally located- 5mims to city centre and Exeter central station and 10mins to St David's and the quay ...


Lovely place to stay at Exeter

Stayed just for one night with my friend. 
Fallen in love with this warm, cosy and friendly place! Nicely decorated and very clean rooms, delicious breakfast, super location. But the most important extremely warm and helpful owners. 
I would highly recommend to stay there if you come to Exeter.

The best B&B in Exeter!

Spent 1 night mid-week at this guesthouse and it was perfectly fine and reasonably priced.
Good points: close to the city centre, reasonably priced, nice breakfast, friendly
Bad points: decor a bit tired and cheap looking

Decent, central B&B

Very friendly hosts where nothing is too much trouble.
A lovely, well decorated and presented room fresh and clean. T.V in good working order, plenty of hangers and at least 7 tea bags and ample provision of coffee, milk, sugar etc.
Very comfortable and definately value for money.
Set over 3 floors but even with damaged lungs getting to the third floor without a lift was ok.
Breakfast offered cereal,  toast, yogurt, fresh fruit and full English  for £7! Well worth it.
Lovely place to stay. Highly recommend!
