Best holiday park I have visited so far, well maintained gardens, surrounding areas. Very scenic place with warm friendly, welcoming staff. Caravans were very clean and had all the necessary equipment for your stay as well as a few welcoming little gifts that added a personal touch. lots of information on places to visit, things to do during your stay and a shop onsite. There is entertainment for all ages, restaurant and snacks and takeaway facilities on site. There is also a swimming pool, spa/sauna and fitness centre. there is free parking, wifi available and park  is pet friendly. There are superb views to Holy loch and a short drive into Dunoon, the beach, castle or museum etc. I would highly recommend this Park

Breath taking Views

It was our second stay for which we brought our parents who are both over 70years old, after it being a success last Christmas.

On arrival, the Club house looked great having been done up.

However, this was as good as it got.

We feel we were just shoved in the worst and oldest Cabin on the site.

It was basically rotting. The floor in the bathroom was uplifting and damp. There was mould in the shower, all round the toilet and around the blind.
The shower was freezing cold which was eventually fixed after 3 attempts. But, still ran hot and cold. To the point my mother of 70 and I had to go to the pool to shower and wash hair.

The woodwork all needed attending to. Lamp shades missing in lounge.

Stains on carpets, table and chairs in kitchen falling apart.

So, many health and safety issues.

Also, only having 1 x bathroom for 5 people was not adequate really.

The clubhouse looked great, however, no staff on sports bar, which looks like short sighted.

Such a great venue but ran poorly.

On Christmas Dinner up at the club, again we felt just squeezed in. Right near the door where a draught ran through.

Charges for the Gym were also a surprise. And especially as the gym was exactly the same as last year. So, no update at all.

We had returned to Hunters Quay, due to how happy we had been last year.

We are so upset and angry that on this occasion it was so poor.


Lodge very poor

The lodge was tired and dated mould on windows tap in bathroom just keep spinning g around. The toilet had leaked and the flooring was stained. The toilet had cracks in the bowl . The shower did not work and there were five of us staying and got sick of cold showers.
. Lamp shades  missing. Curtains creased. The only good thing was the hot tub. Christmas dinner was amazing. Such a shame the lodge was so disappointing 🥲🥲🥲 the staff were very helpful and did everything to try and make our stay enjoyable. Chalet was a complete letdown.

Not good

Should have been going at the end of November 2023, got a phone call 5 days before to cancel my stay as they decided to close between Monday to Friday. Genuinely shocked at how it was handled from what I thought was a great business, luckily I had booked through hoseasons and they had reassigned us somewhere else, spoke to someone who said hunters quay where just phoning and cancelling and they would be refunded well after what would have been their week away.  Definitely will never book for here again and will warn others who plan to book to try somewhere else instead. Terrible customer service. 

Cancelled stay 5 days before due to come

This place is next-level, we often go to holiday parks for short breaks but this is undoubtedly the best we’ve visited. Immaculate public areas - the arena is an incredible space. Emily and Cat on the ents. team went above and beyond to make our experience special and were so warm, welcoming and professional. We’ll definitely be back in 2024! 

Stunning Park, Great Entertainment Team

Stayed in Maplecroft at the front of the holiday park with a lovely view over Loch Holy. 
Lodge was amazing. So big with 4 wonderful bedrooms, all ensuite. 2 double, 2 twin. 
Everything was lovely and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. 
Robes/slippers provided for after a relaxing spell in the hot tub which is very private without feeling too enclosed. 
Wifi is an extra minimal cost and signal is strong throughout the lodge. 

Definitely one to return to.

Lovely short break with family

I booked this last minute for the February school holidays. I didn't know much about the park but the price was a good deal so we decided it was worth a try. Really pleased we went. We had a hot tub lodge which was lovely, cosy and clean. The hot tub was very good and staff checked the water each day. My kids (7yo and 5 yo) enjoyed the pool and tried the archery, teddy-tastic and sand art activities. All the staff we interacted with with very friendly and really good with kids. The park is also very dog friendly. Some areas were closed for refurbishment when we were there. We knew about this at the time of booking and it didn't cause a problem, there was still plenty to do. I would like to come back again to see it when the new facilities are open as I think this will be really good. 

A great family break

We stayed in a Beech hot tub lodge (Eaglecroft 5) the accommodation was clean but smelt of wet dog :( When I used the hoover it smelt of wet dog - if bag was changed & carpet freshener used it would help with smell) The hot tub was fantastic & the kitchen was well equipped. There was an iron & ironing board but no hair dryer. There were towels left on the beds which was great. Beds weren’t the most comfortable and pillows need replaced. The pool was fab. Kids went to aqua run which they loved( £10 each to book) all staff were excellent. Hopefully beds & carpets will be replaced in the upgrade. We look forward to returning when the refurbishment is complete.

Great family break

This was a last minute booking with the dog and our 11 year old son. There is refurbishment going on in the entertainment area but didn't hinder our holiday at all. Reception staff were lovely on arrival, was given a doggy goody bag (lovely touch) and free passes for the pool and gym. Lodge was clean and warm on arrival. Great dog walks, used the gym and pool each day. Booked Teddytastic and archery, again staff were friendly and great with my son. Hope to visit again!

Great dog friendly break

Dirty rooms and you have to PAY for the WiFi. Absoloutly ridiculous came here with family and had to wait for over 2 hours due to them having to defrost the freezer which then flooded the whole place.
