Spotless room modern room with shower good storage Julie on reception absolutely lovely a human being! housekeeping staff big thumbs up to you restaurant 2 staff organised professionals and they were so busy service with a smile everything spot on recommend this hotel to anyone thank you to all the staff David and Joanne.

Best hotel we have been to value for money as well.

Room was lovely and clean on arrival. Even smelt nice too! The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and helpful. Breakfast was nice too - again with friendly staff in the resteraunt. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming. Will definitely be back to visit Yorkshire wildlife park and be staying here again. Xx

I always stay at lakeside rooms are clean staff are friendly always there to help always a good experience close to local amenities always something to do and places to eat either at beefeater or local food places always an enjoyable stay and will always go back

Hotel offered everything required for a good nights sleep. Warm & comfortable, quiet & cosy. Good food offer next door. Wi fi not great though. I would definitely stay again. Different types of bookings available 

Lakeside premier inn

ideal location for the football match at the eco power stadium.  Great beds and staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.  Attached to the Beefeater which was great for breakfast.this was our second stay will definitely stay again when visiting family 

Doncaster lakeside

We had to stay whilst moving a relative in with us and it was the perfect setting. I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel and recommending it to others. Staff were helpful and warm as only Yorkshire people can be.

Stay was perfect

I had to visit Doncaster for a family funeral but wanted to explore the city too, as I had never spent time there before. I have stayed in Premier Inns before and knew they are always comfortable and good value, but I chose this branch over the one in the city centre because the location looked interesting. I like running and thought it would be interesting to run either around the lake or in the nearby nature reserve. It was still close enough to the centre to be practical. As it happens I got lifts from relatives, but I had done my research and knew there was a bus service into town from Lakeside.

The room was as I expected - comfortable, with everything I needed. I particularly liked the modern, fully adjustable shower and the toiletries provided. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I hadn't booked a breakfast in advance, as I was not sure what plans I would be making with my relatives in the area. It turned out it was no problem just to go in and pay for a breakfast when I was ready, so I got to have an early morning run round the lake, which is beautiful and would make a nice place for a walk or just to sit and relax. The breakfast itself was lovely, with plenty of choices. I specifically asked for my bacon to be well done and it came exactly how I had imagined it. There were some imaginative options in the cereal and toast buffet, such as yoghurt and berry compote to go with the cereals, and some delicious pancakes with golden syrup. After breakfast, I met up with a relative and we visited the nearby Lakeside shopping outlet village, which is well worth a visit - we got some great bargains. I would recommend this as something to do while staying in the area. In short, I am very glad I stayed here as I got to see some aspects of Doncaster that are maybe not the most famous and touristy parts but really interesting, while getting the consistently comfortable and relaxing hotel experience I would expect from a Premier Inn.

The perfect place to stay for a brief visit to the city

Stayed here a couple of times when attending events at the nearby Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Both times a really comfortable stay. Slept really well on the Premier Inn beds as always. The meal deal (evening meal plus brekkie) is brilliant value and the Beefeater restaurant on site is a nice chilled place to eat or have a drink before going out.

This has been my fourth stay in this particular Premier Inn.  As ever, the staff on reception are welcoming, efficient and polite.  This time it was a young lady called Julie who was helpful and able to answer any queries I had.  Top notch service - no wonder Premier Inn always score so highly in customer surveys...
