After trying to contact during the day of check-in via telephone and messaging through Booking.com and getting zero responses by any means, we turned up just before 10pm after being delayed doing a charity Welsh Three Peaks challenge. It was this reason I was trying to contact to advise the B&B.
We (there were two of us booked in) rang the doorbell relentlessly (could hear it through the front door), calling both landline and mobile number displayed on a plaque beside the door and knocking like we were the police. There was no response but a light was on in the house. 
After 15 minutes it was clear that we had been shafted and had to drive back uo to the YHA Pen-y-Pass where the rest of our colleagues also completing the challenge were staying. My colleague Mark that had booked and been charged £95 (which he will be seeking a full refund via Booking.com) suffers from Bipolar and can have serious relapses if he doesn't get an adequate night's sleep, and I was one of the support drivers for our group and was up at 01:30 that morning driving from Bristol, to all three peaks and had a 5-6 hour drive back the following day hence why we had both booked a B&B to try and get as good a night's sleep as possible. 
Luckily I had mistakenly given the incorrect card details on Booking so the B&B were due to take payment on our arrival so I hadn't paid. I had to sleep on the back of the minibus and since getting no more than three hours sleep and awaking on the day after, I have had sciatica return that I have not had for several years si thank you Idan House for ruining what was up until that point, a most enjoyable day. 
If you are reading this review, I would seriously reconsider Booking this B&B and if you do, book through an agency so if this upsetting scenario occurs for you, at least you may be able to claim your money back.

⚠️ Book with caution ⚠️

Fab stay, centrally located for access to the facilities in the town, the lake and to hike up Snowdon and to see the waterfalls.  Accommodation is clean and warm. We booked the ensuite, it was located to the rear of the property with views ti the lake. Breakfast was delicious and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to return. Thank you

Perfect location

Stayed 1 night before climbing Snowdon. Ideally situated on the High Street and managed to park close by. Hosts very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Good value for money. Breakfast was at 7.30 and perfectly acceptable. Thank you!

Good stay before climb.

Excellent location at the top of Llanberis highstreet and extremely good value for money. Easy to find. Free parking is available on street, but you have to be lucky to get a space as it is quite limited. 
Hosts were fantastic and really friendly/welcoming. Check in was nice and easy (via safe lock). Was unusual to not be greeted upon arrival, and this was the first time we have ever done this method. But it worked well and we got into room absolutely fine. 

Room itself was fine. Comfortable and met our needs for the time we were there. We used it as a base and somewhere to sleep, which was perfect for us. Shower wasn't working properly, but we eventually found the instructions on a post-it note for how to get it to work. 

Breakfast was excellent and lots of different options. Overall, very good value for money and well worth the stay. Would recommend/come back if in the area again. 

Quaint little B&B at the top of Llanberis highstreet 

Stayed at Idan House to walk Snowdon. Perfect location on llanberis High Street. Parking along high street adjacent to accomodation. 
Front door and room key provided.
Rooms are sufficient. Clean and comfortable.
Proprietors were attentive and pleasant.
Breakfast was full welsh cooked breakfast.
Yogurts fresh fruit pastries cereals all our to serve yourself.
Breakfast 7.30 til 8.30am.
Didn't need to leave Llanberis. Plenty to do. E.g. train rides hiking castle visit canoeing abseiling . Cafes for meals.
We ate at local Indian restaurant just yards from idan house. Perfect

Great stay

Idan house was perfectly located for our trip to Snowden. The complementary full Welsh breakfast and vegetarian breakfasts were perfect to power us up the mountain. The rooms were very clean and towels available on demand. 
I would highly recommend Idan house to all wishing to visit Llanberis, 

Great stay.

Sorry but after reading some lovely reviews, this stay for us was pretty poor. 
The room was not clean, it looked grubby on every service and there was pumpkin seeds in the bathroom from someone else! 
There was a handwritten note to say to use the shower we had to turn the tap on twice?? and everytime we used the sink there was an almighty sound roaring through the bedroom. So much so that our downstairs neighbour kept banging hell out of the ceiling. 
There no advice about breakfast or parking. Tried to call multiple times and got nowhere. 
The TV didn't work and kept flitting in and out. 
The grand finale was being overcharged for the room, different price to booking.com and after quesitoning this a few times i have been ignored. So now having to to through my bank to handle. It's only £5 more, but I won't be overcharged for a shoddy room and then ignored. we didn't eveen have breakfast! 

On the plus, good location for Snowdon if you're willing to overlook the above. Beds were comfortable and bedding seemed clean. 

Not great

Severely disappointed with this B&B. We stayed once with this company last year and had a lovely stay. So much so, we not only booked to return the following year, but also recommended our friends book in as well. The owners had assured us the year prior that if we phoned direct to book, a discount would be applied as we were returning customers. We did just this and were greeted politely over the phone. It was a bit tricky booking over the phone as the owners use booking.com mostly, but they assured us it was booked. After much chase, I managed to secure a written confirmation of this by emailing a few times and receiving a written reply. One week prior to our stay I received an email confirming our stay of 1 night, not two. I contacted the owner explaining we had confirmed two nights and sent the proof email. The owner replied explaining only one night was booked. Upon phoning later that evening the owner explained that they had double booked. Upon asking that this be settled, as I had arranged for friends to be meeting us at snowdon for that duration, alongside those already booked in at Idan House, it was explained nothing could be done. I am not one to be rude, and I explained over the phone that the way it had been handled was unprofessional, to which the owner rather rudely proclaimed that she did not care what I considered to be professional and that nothing was to be had of the situation. She was incredibly rude and unnecessarily impolite. I instantly booked elsewhere and had a much better stay, however am solely disappointed at the service that was received from this hotel. I would never use again and sternly suggest that you book only through booking.com should you have the misfortune of only being able to stay at this place.

Good little place to stay before heading up to snowdon. Breakfast was nice but I was so focused on my walk to snowdon that I forgot to eat my gluten free toast!! View from my window was great. 

Had A good night sleep. Only criticism is that your shower head kept falling down when I was trying to shower.

Popped in this morning for breakfast with my girlfriend, very relaxing and chilled atmosphere. Food hit the spot for both of us, and the owner was very pleasant to talk to.
Very reasonable prices, but cash only. Was not an issue though as we were told we could pop down the road to a cash point after our meal, which was very trusting and kind of him.
If I needed to stay in Llanberis in the future it would be the first place I would look to book in!
