Love this place, we keep returning! Sad to see it's closed temporarily, will return again when it's reopen. Warm welcome on arrival, comfy rooms with good food on offer in the restaurant. Setting is very scenic, with easy access to other places in the area.

    What was good

    Yes we went to Forrest gin distillery had a very nice tour. And walked around macclesfield forest. The stanley arms was excellent the staff are very welcoming we had dinner bed and breakfast. The customers in the bar were very entertaining. Thanks for a great stay .p/a the sherry was nice touch in our excellent room .thanks again.
