Anchorage Guest House is just a short walk into town center and quay. Cooked to order breakfast, with the best sausages. Marc is the perfect host. Good size, nicely decorated room with a very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee set-up was included in our room.  Plenty of on-site parking. Highly recommend, and would stay here again.

My Wife and myself came down to Brixham from Yorkshire for the Brixham Pirate Festival over the bank holiday weekend. We had booked for 3 nights,  around 8 months in advance. 
I had to ring and spoke to Mark on the way down due to an incident on the M5 of which he was totally understanding of our later than anticipated time of arrival. Upon arrival we were by Mark who was friendly and showed us to our room.
The room was bright, spacious and had ample storage for our clothing etc.
Breakfast was nice, although we had to book a time due to ongoing covid restrictions which is totally understandable and we didn't mind at all.
A good location around 15mins walk from the harbour, with a relatively easy walk as opposed to some places we have stayed in Brixham up the steep hills. 
All in all, a good value, friendly stay where we would look to stay again in the future.

Nice little B&B

We always wanted to stay here, but always fully booked in the summer months. 
We decided to get away just after Xmas. 
Our room was in the attic, so cosy and very comfortable, lovely corner bath with shower, a fan for when I got hot and a heater to warm the room.. To be honest we didn't need it. 
The breakfast was perfect, plenty of choice, we went for the full English, 
Bacon was great, a good thick slice and a very tasty sausage, followed by toast, real butter and selection of jams , tea and coffee. 
Plenty of parking places and bus stop outside the front door. 



Twixmas  break 

The Anchorage guest house was a perfect B&B for our couples trip away. The location couldn’t be better and the room was beautifully decorated. We had an amazing time thanks to Marc who was very accommodating and was more than happy to help! The breakfast was amazing  (even for a picky vegetarian), we could not have picked anywhere better to stay! Thank you again Marc!!☺️

Best stay ever!!!!!!!

Myself and my husband were treated to a four day break after a tough time through covid and losing my dad. We arrived at the anchorage and Marc was waiting to greet  us. What a wonderful relaxing place,  absolutely nothing was too much trouble and Marc was always there to answer questions and help to make the stay perfect. Breakfast was beautiful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much Marc for making our much needed break perfect.

If I returned to Brixham, I'd stay here. Very friendly atmosphere. Mark is a wonderful man with a truly great sense of humour. Really good breakfast, room very clean and tidy. Beautiful garden. You will not be disappointed.

Great choice

Stayed 3 nights here , in these COVID times found some routine things a bit strange had a tray outside room to put things we needed replacing ie tea bags milk pods after using!!! plus used towels. But overall enjoyed our stay bed was very comfortable breakfast was nice , handy bus stop outside so could get about easily.

Back to some normality

Got home today after a 5 day stay lovely host room really warm and cosy mark always made sure the coffee and tea and biscuits were filled up every day really nice breakfast very covid safe will go again lots to see in Brixtham 

Getaway

Very friendly host excellent service. Breakfast great - nice location  10 minute walk to town or local bus service available outside the door - we arrived early but Mark the host went out if his way to  accommodated us would recommend

We booked 3 nights at this guest house, proprietor made the booking quick and easy direct with himself while he awarded us a 5% discount.  We chose the upstairs loft room with ensuite.  Albeit tightly packed the room had everything in it, the shower was hot and v powerful.  We did start discovering items left by other guests under bed and wasnt the cleanest.  The milk tray served had out of date milk, however he did let us take our tables breakfast milk to the room daily to make a flask.  Blankets v scratchy, and bed too soft personal preference I guess. Overall a pleasant stay and only a walk into Brixham.
