Booked a family room . It was up in the loft which is acceptable via a very steep staircase. The room is spacious but being the loft each side is very low ceiling. Very quirky , even included huge cobwebs from the ceiling light and in most corners . The double bed had something resembling a pallet underneath to support it . The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly and the shower cuts out mid shower . Admittedly it is an old property one don’t expect it to be all mod cons but expected a bit better for £100 a night we paid especially with no breakfast included as well .

Below average for the price paid

Stayed in a large room for 4 with a massive ensuite for a ladies night away last Saturday night.  The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and a big thank you to the staff who were welcoming and friendly, as were the lovely local people we met (canine too!)
Bridgnorth can get quite lively on a Saturday night but rowdy behaviour doesn't appear to be tolerated here and we were well looked after.  We will definitely return. Ps. Great pizza's too.

Loads of character in a riverside setting.

The pub was old and the rooms were quirky, the bed was comfortable, although I had to walk uphill to the bathroom, it is listed as a B&B but they do not do Breakfast, but the old building in front of the pub and to the right did the best breakfast I have had for years, Bridgnorth is a nice place and well worth a visit.

So noisey I know it's over a pub but that never usually bothers me..but you could hear everything and I'm mean to the point of couple above us having a fumble ..to every toilet function going and even after half an hour the toilet still flushing..room was lovely old looking and great view of the river but extremely cold in the morning.

stayed here for a number of reasons......"haunted"....didnt experience owt.  very old world , full of heratage + history.  on arrival ,was closed? , had to phone to be let in.   room full of tradition , beams , uneven floorind (tiz 350+years old).   HOWEVER.....heating was not on , had to put on myself. NO hot water ???? put emersion heater on , still after 1hr, still luke warm.....not impressed.      good sufficient english breakfast .  room met its needs

The food was pretty crap to be  honest :(
The garlic bread was burnt all around the edges, my daughter had terrible mash potato, she would of liked gravy with her sausage and mash but they don't do gravy. She had a small portion of dried up baked beans instead.
I had a 3 drinks and a toddler and the bar man told me from behind the bar to get my own cutlery and sauce from the chest around the corner . No offer to help me and i was the only person at the bar.
There was one member of staff that was particularly grumpy . He said if I don't have salad I won't get garlic bread with my lasagna, as it comes together. I wanted chips instead . So I had to buy chips and buy a portion of garlic bread on top of a £9.95 lasagna. I felt a bit done out of money to be honest.
The tables outside were all dirty ..
The view was beautiful in the garden. The flowers were lovely, the toilets were clean.
But I'm not rushing back there just because of the limited menu , the food quality and presentation was poor and the staff weren't very helpful.
