Returned yesterday from a 2 night stay at The Flag and Castle while visiting a relative. Landlord & landlady very friendly and helpful. We had a double room on the 1st floor with a double bed & ensuite shower room very clean and every thing we needed, towels, hairdryer, coffee & tea making facilities. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from. The garden area was also lovely and you could sit out in the garden which is very well tended. The B&B was well situated for the town and sightseeing. We will definitely return and would happily recommend to others. 

Lovely little gem

Can’t recommend enough, I had to change my two day booking to one due to family reasons and the owners were very accommodating! The room was perfect and the breakfast was delicious! Will definitely return!!

Fantastic stay

The room was very clean, two single beds, tv, wifi, ensuite. Quiet and peaceful. The landlord and lady were helpful and treated us a friends. Nothing was to much trouble. The guest house is in East walking of diversification and all the "tourist attractions" .

Excellent accommodation, small only 4 guest bedrooms. Delightful. Quiet. Highly recommend.

I've got to say, overall it was a nice, cosy and warm bed and breakfast. On a positive note, it was clean, warm and I did love the log fire on a cold, wet weekend. The room looked bigger on the website pictures and everything was compact. I didn't expect much more from a B&B. If I'm honest the breakfast meats did seem a bit cheap/low quality. Maybe I'm used to a better quality. Also the fridge containing the yougurts didn't seem to chill anything. The vegetarian option was far better (no meat).Would I go there again? Sadly NO. But if nothing else is available, then give it a go......... Im sure there is better nearby though!

This is a fabulous B&B.  It is extremely clean and tidy.  The rooms are cosy and have everything you need. And, the breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of options to choose from.   I would thoroughly recommend a stay here to anyone.
