We visit Lanarth a few times a year and every time we have a great stay. Steve as always goes above and beyond to look after us, always able to find and lend us caravan bits, if we have lost ours.
Our children love the grounds, and the bar at night..

Another great stay at the Lanarth

loved this place so quiet and peaceful took our mobile home here great pitch clean toilets and showers chris and staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble loved the peacocks and rabbits and a great pub with jukebox and pool tables lovely swimming pool as well we will definitely be back can't wait would highly recommend this beautiful place

A fantastic long camping trip, on a very peaceful site with friendly staff and good facilities.

We stayed here for 6 nights this August, and had plenty to do out and about, but the site was always a good place to come back too, clean and quiet. The bar with pool tables was welcome as well.

Fantastic campsite

We absolutely loved our camping trip here. The site is tranquil and beautiful, facilities clean and the resident peacocks cheeky and entertaining!
The pool was a real bonus and nice to have an onsite bar.
We will most definitely be back, great value too.

Weekend camping

We've just come back from a lovely 3 days camping with our family. The facilities are exactly what you need, and kept clean throughout the day. Lovely field, our children really enjoyed all the bunnies that come out first thing. The ladies who own it are fabulous, our little girl was travel sick on the way down and they washed and dried her clothes for us. Great location, plenty of shops around. We'd come back any time!

Lovely for families

We are camping last day tomorrow we extended our booking. This is such a lovely place very friendly great bar also.
We are here in low season so we could travel to see things without being extra busy  nothing is too much trouble for these lovely people. The peacocks and peahens are so lovely and friendly they are roaming around freely u like this very much.
The site has a hotel also, there is a very clean toilet and shower block with running hot water after a day out is welcoming for sure. Keep up the good work Steve thank you again we will be back.

A beautiful place to stay. We were camping with electric hook up.

This place hugely exceeded our expectations, we were made to feel so welcome, the owner is so lovely and kind. The place is so nice, has everything you can need, yes the pool is cold but kids really don't seem to care at all once theyre in! 
i would highly recommend this place to all my friends, and i usually hate camping, but i already cannot wait to go back here. Shower and  toilet blocks were kept so clean and well stocked of toilet roll, the pub onsite is just perfect, great atmosphere and everyone gets on so well. 
The peacocks roaming around the site was just lovely, although im not sure they felt the same about my daughter, sorry! 
All in all, a perfect place to unplug and unwind!

I am now a camping convert!

What a gem of a find this was. After deciding to do a staycation this year. We booked 3 nights here as a random find. I’ve got to say it was fantastic. Before I’d even checked in we bumped into a lovely lady called jan (who is part of the family that it belongs to) and had such a lovely chat we felt so welcome immediately. The whole place had such a warm feel to it. It’s so nice to have the peacocks wandering around. The bar is a lovely little place to drop in in the evening. Pool tables and air hockey were a big hit with the kids. As from my 8 year olds mouth the showers are amazing and he didn’t want to get out. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful family run camp site.

Little gem of a find

We have been visiting the Lanarth since 1999 and as always, this stay was as lovely as all our previous visits. We normally come down every summer as campers with our children and every autumn/winter as a couple in the hotel and on every occasion, Steve and Sarah make us feel welcome and Steve not only works dawn til dusk supporting the caravan and camping guests but in the evenings he is in the bar making everyone welcome and chatting to all. Sarah too works all day everyday, from cleaning the shower/toilet blocks with Steve and cleaning the hotel (both are always lovely and clean), to meeting and greeting on check in. 
Our children always love their stay and talk about the next visit all year round! They  love the pool and exploring the grounds and in the evenings they love playing pool, air hockey and talking to Steve. It’s good for us to see them having fun while we relax (obviously we love playing the games too). We will be coming back next year and hopefully many years to come.
It was good to see more people staying this year on the site and Steve and Sarah have lots of COVID measures in place to reassure you that safety is paramount. Also an excellent base to be able to discover Cornwall

A lovely break from it all

Camping here has been lovely. The site is really relaxed and has a nice outdoor pool. Facilities are well kept and there’s a nice little area for the dogs to run about too. We received a friendly welcome and the pitches are well sized. 
Things to bear in mind if you do come here are: there is no shop on site so come well prepared. There is a spar shop over the road but it’s expensive and doesn’t sell alcohol. The trip to Wadebridge for more shops is only minutes away though. 
There are peacocks and they can be quite noisy early in the morning. We are up early anyway so it made no odds to us. 
This site is situated so well to easily be able to get to some beautiful attractions in Cornwall.  
Overall, lovely little site for camping. Would come back for sure.
