What a lovely little hotel in blackpool not far from the sea and a really nice owner very polite and considering only taken over the place in the last week highly reccomended will 100% return here again

Lovely stay

Would avoid booking this place at all costs booked this hotel for my family to stay in for the night as they were coming down to Blackpool from Scotland for my wedding but upon arriving at the hotel the place was in complete darkness the door was locked and there was no one around my family ended up travelling all the way back up to Scotland after my wedding reception as it was to late to book anywhere else reading all these reviews of the place I think my family dodged a bullet with not being able to stay there

Avoid at all cost

Just got back from this hotel today all I can say is that it’s the worst hotel I have stayed in bed bugs showers not cleaned or even the rooms too I know it was cheap but that’s not the case and they really need to update their photos online as it look nothing like the ones online. Place needs closing down and fast 

Worst hotel ever 

This place is full of fleas bouncing round, the room was just given to us as the last guest left it, disgusting dirty beds, piles of rubbish, cups with mould, no kettle, tea bits, I don't think the carpet knew what a Hoover was, the bathroom,   the toilet was covered in poop,wee all over the floor, no towels it was disgusting, no answer from the woman Mandy who said she was the owner. We have reported the state of the building and the cleaning to our local council and Lancashire county council.

Don't Bother 

This place is terrible, I don't think the room had been cleaned for months, the bedding was smelley, it could not have been changed we found a dirty sock in one of the beds. the carpet looked like it had never been cleaned, it was covered in crisps, nuts, chips, the bin was full to the top, we found 4 items that were not ours in the room. The stains on the cups, furniture, were disgusting. No tea, coffee, one milk, 2 sugar, for 4 people, no towels, the cups were just everywhere in the room they were disgusting. The sink was a health hazard.  The room stunk of damp and dirt. The manager had a nasty attitude, really rude. Never again. We have informed the local authority.

Disgusting

Me and my husband booked this place for a weekend away, we knew it was cheap and that was no bother, but we did not expect it to be such an awful, unsafe place to stay. We were booked in for two nights and left after one. To start off with the photos online are totally unlike the hotel in real life and I don’t mean things had be changed around, I mean the ‘lounge’ had exposed floorboards and all sorts of crap piled up in the corner. There was all sorts of damn dripping from the ceiling. We were told we could check in from 3pm, we didn’t get in until 4:30pm. No one answered the phone and no one was at the ‘reception’. Another family with very young children had been waiting four hours before us to check in. To credit the owner she had to go on the school run but surely you’d let people know you wouldn’t be back in time for check in?! Or answer your phone. Whilst waiting the owners children were running in and out shooting each other with BB guns. Whilst checking in the owner said and I quote “it’s not the ritz but at least it’s clean”. We went upstairs to our room and to be fair the room was somewhat clean, about as clean as you could get it. The sheets were fresh and we had clean towels. However that was the only thing that was clean, we chose the room with the bathroom. We had a tea station but did not use it as (attached below) you can see the state that the one cup was in when we arrived! No remote for either tv, the door was in an awful state and you could push it over with a breath, the door knob had significant damage to it and we didn’t trust it at all. Inside the little side table there was all sort of unknown substances, the room was repulsive and we couldn’t stand to be in it for long. We slept for one night and the night was quiet, however at 7am the owners children were running up and down the hallways screaming, shouting and crying. To credit her she was doing some cleaning but she was just yelling at her children the whole time. Moving onto the area, we had no idea how bad the surrounding area was. All hours there’s people out on the street drinking, smoking and fighting. There’s lose dogs running around and the vibe is just awful, you genuinely feel unsafe walking back to the hotel. Even Booking.com had express deep sympathy for our experience with this disgusting hotel. Do not book it’s just awful. 

We only managed one out of 2 nights! Stay away!

It is an insult to even label this poor hut a hotel. Smelly place, front door was broken. Rooms was a shambles, bed sheets had pee marks. Owner not present on arrival. Turned up when we called the number given via booking.com. Gave us the keys for the rooms. Toilet in the corridoor had green stuff on the floor. This place is only suitable for animals from the farm.
I paid good money for this, and I´d seriously want them back from booking.com. 

We found another hotel, and never even considered to give this place a stay after viewing the poor facilities.

How even booking.com can accept having such a place in their catalogue is beyond me.

The worst hotel ever

Arrived at this hotel end of November 2021 . The man was spot on. No one had booked in . We was in the hotel all alone even the man didn’t live there . we got in the room the size of room was ok to stay in bunk beds decent and large double bed  with a small tv ,however opened the curtains to find the window was broken and wouldn’t shut ! My other half had to ring the man and the man said can you wait until tomorrow! I had a child under 4 and 2 kids age 8,9. My other half had to go on the roof to close it because the handle was broken. They is no central heating at all they is heaters but they don’t do nothing ! All my family slept in coats !!! Booked for 2 nights went out all day the second day .. came back to no electric .. called the man which then said it was on a token metre … he then moved us hotels to the wishing well . 
Overall the man didn’t really give a  crap my kids was gunna freeze at night , only when we complained the 2nd night did he move us . AVOID at all costs !!!!

This hotel is not suitable for anyone no heating and we called landlord and he eventually brought us a heater later in the night we stayed here for 1 night and never again we was freezing all night the place is in a right mess.we won’t be here again. Prices are good but the state off this place is horrible I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here .

1 night holiday and we have to stay in room with not many channels on tv and no remote for tvs and very very cold

Very horrible hotel

This hotel is horrible and unhealthy we boooked  a family room and the room was not like it looked or said on there website we had one 4 year old and one 3year old and I thought it be nice and clean but they proofed me wrong the front room window looks like that just came from a scrap yard they was dirty as anything and there was spiders in each corner and the other room in the front room has no lights so could not see and one of my children has now got I’ll sleeping in this hotel and sleeping in the cold . On the sign by the door said it got central heating but there was not heating whatsoever so we complain to owner and they came and gave us a little electric heater but that did not help also the owner said that are going to put the central heating on but did they no they did not they only said they putting the heating to stop getting complains but they should still put the heating on cuz they got young age children in the hotel what could of die in the cold but they did not put any heating on whatsoever they will not put the heating on . I only came here cuz it said families and couples only so I thought it would be nice and warm but it was not warm at all it’s disappointing that you need to phone the  owner to come to this hotel to give you a electronic heater in the room . The owner was not even in this hotel they should have staff all the time in this hotel but they did not so that was not helpful and you also need to call the owner when you first check in so that’s another thing what’s disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone  it’s not clean at all . One of the door dose not the close properly the one of the door downstairs got cracks so I’m not recommending this to anyone .
