Nice hotel but definitely needs more staff , breakfast hot food was cold not even warm service at breakfast was ok bar service dreadful,  poor man covering check in and bar waiting over 20 minutes for a drink , only good thing is the location everything else poor 
Second night room next to ours had a hen party with loud music and screaming girls until 4am 

Weekend away with friends 

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel location is perfect, right beside the train station. It is a very well kept hotel, with very friendly staff who helped us with anything we needed. I have no complaints about this hotel whatsoever and would return again.

Perfect. Me and my partner stayed here because our trains got cancelled. Very quick to book and affordable. Lovely customer service and the room is really nice. The shower is really nice too, for a premier inn it’s really nice. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect

Had an issue with my shower and reported it to the front desk worker called Emma Harvey, she arranged for an engineer to have a look but as he could not fix it she kindly arranged for another room and also upgraded my basic room to a premium plus room which I am very grateful for.

Really helpful staff

A great corner room on the 6th floor, spotlessly clean. Great meal in the restaurant, staff a little thin on the ground and working hard to cope.
Woken at around 2AM to what appeared to be a fight or argument further down the corridor, lasted for around 25 minutes with raise voices and slamming of doors.

Great value - Great food - but noisy at night time

Stayed for the second year running for a routine hospital appointment. Good accommodation in a great central location. Friendly, efficient staff - especially Ewan at breakfast. My only quibble is the lack of choice on gluten-free food at the evening meal, especially if you don't eat meat - basically only a pretty boring salad, which was disappointing. (There was more choice last year - so hopefully this is a temporary blip.) Otherwise, an enjoyable stay.

Great central location but poor on GF food choices

The hotel is a couple of minutes' walk from the station which was very handy. It was reliable and exactly as you'd expect - clean, very comfortable and quiet. Just one word of warning for female solo travellers, the area after rush hour doesn't feel safe - lots of men walking about and some gathered around the entrance which is a floor below reception. I'd advise eating in the hotel at night unless with others.  As we walked back from eating out we all felt the area was risky and it was only 9.30pm.

Reliable brand in a good location

The room was lovely. Breakfast great and Ewan was so helpful. He deserves a medal for running the breakfast, largely singlehanded. I can’t recommend this Premier Inn too highly. Have stayed here several times, and the high quality never varies.

Great experience

I found the Premier Inn beside Birmingham New Street so handy for the station ,the staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfeast was lovely and varied , the Sunday evening meal there was an issue and my main course meal took 25 minutes to come and appeared reheated but that was the only main thing .
Wifi was a bit temperamental but the Ned and room was first rate .

Nice Hotel Stay

Another great stay . This time was here for the cancer research charity walk . Being in the  centre of Birmingham it’s ideally placed by the railway station . 
We were greeted by two of the most enthusiastic people we’re ever meet . Didn’t catch one of the guys name but Tyrese Owen thank you keeping by hubby entertain in the bar . You guys are amazing
