This was our third visit to the Waveney River Centre and yet again it didn't disappoint. The lodge was immaculate and stocked with everything you could possibly need.  The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough to help.  Also ate at the restaurant onsite and the food was amazing.  Can't wait to return again. :)

Can't recommend highly enough ......

Booked for a NYE trip, we are still here as I write this review.  Accommodation is great, nice location and clean.  Although, we have had two occasions this week where the Waveney Inn didn’t do food and the shop on site closed around 40 mins before it was advertised.  I understand that we are out of season but we had no notification of the pub not doing food and the shop closing early. One occasion we relied on the shop for last evening food and at 7:20 it was close. We have also had to pay £35 for 7 devices to get on the WiFi.  I am happy to pay for the WiFi as long as it works but it’s not been good.  We had 3 kids under 13 so the WiFi is an essential requirement 😃 Just a few tweaks would of made our stay a 5 out of 5 

Great but not quite there 

This was our second visit to the Waveney River Centre and it didn't disappoint. The lodge was so lovely and stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was immaculate and the staff were super friendly and helpful.  Can't wait to return again. :)

Another fabulous break away.....

This was our first time here and it was lovely. We stayed in a 4 bedroom lodge for 6 of us and it was very spacious and well equipped.
The hot tub was lovely and clean and it was cleaned regularly while we were there. 
All the staff were very friendly. 
A very quiet and peaceful location and not far from Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft where there is plenty to do. 
The only down side was we had to pay extra for the WiFi and then it didn't work properly, which would have helped us to know what else was around the area.
Overall would highly recommend!

A great family holiday 

Didn’t stay but stopped by on a boat to get fuel. The attendant was great. Helpful with what we needed and felt it was important to give him a mention. People are very quick to criticise but often don’t appreciate good service. Thank you. (4/8/23)

Great service

Absolutely loved it, we stayed in a lodge (gillingham) it was absolutely lovely so comfortable and clean. Hot tub was excellent and was excellent at night sitting in it star glazing. Food at the Waveney inn on site was also excellent big potions and great price 2 course for £14.99 and all staff lovely I can’t wait to go again.

Great Relaxing Break

Stayed in the summer for a couple nights away as we needed a relaxing break. It was the perfect couple of days we could have wished for the staff are so helpful and accommodating, comfy clean chalets and the hot tub just topped it off! We will be returning soon for another short break!! We went somewhere local for a canoe ride which was great fun. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic break

9of us stayed at Burgh spa very spacious lovely outlook very clean hot tub nice and quiet pub and restaurant very friendly had a lovely meal there the accommodation was clean there was no toiletries would expect this in a place that is advertise as luxury my only complaint was that the furniture was very worn not what I would have expected need to be updated the single track road to get to the Waverley centre can be very difficult especially when you get some one speeding towards otherwise had a very nice stay

Pleasant stay

Wow what a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. From the moment we arrived the team were all so helpful. We stayed in a lodge overlooking the Marsh and it was just perfect. The lodge was really clean and well equipped. We felt so relaxed and it was wonderful to be able to have a dip in the hot tub with was so clean. We would really recommend a visit to the restaurant as the food was delicious. The staff couldn't do enough for us and we felt the food and drink was reasonably priced especially with the view you get. The swimming pool was really great fun and everyone on the park were so friendly. 
If you have the opportunity hire a boat. The broads are spectacular with so much wildlife and beautiful scenery. 100% recommend this beautiful destination. A big thank you to the manager Kizzy and her team, we will definitely be back. 

Brilliant family break

Following what was a excellent weekend away, I am thoroughly impressed with the property and the beautiful views that came with it! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating on arrival. The lodge in itself was clean, comfortable and spacious with the convenience of amenities only a short walk away. We made use of the decking each morning drinking our cups of coffee’s; which later turned into sharing a bottle of bubbly in the hot tub! The location was very peaceful and allowed us to really switch off and relax. Overall, a really lovely stay-cation in which we will be returning with our friends and family.
