Stayed here for a week in September. Our room, 1, is a twin room en-suite. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is clean and well fitted. We had a useful wardrobe and the usual British B&B tea and coffee.
The garden is very pretty and obviously well looked after.  
The choice for breakfast is amazing, everything from breakfast cereal to a full English, even croissants are available. Tea or coffee is offered with toast by default.
Access in and out of the drive is a little tight if you drive anything bigger than a Ford Ka, but there is parking for three cars.
Overall the owners were very welcoming and the stay was great.

Very comfortable bed & breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at Reighamsyde. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The bed and breakfast is a short walk from the centre of town but is worth the walk as it’s so peaceful and quiet and the views of the countryside are incredible! A lovely base to explore n
Alnwick and it’s lovely surrounding area as the bus station is not far away as well as the Alnwick gardens and castle. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were so lovely and even took us back to the train station! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely Peaceful Place to Stay 

Following my review on booking.com I received an e-mail from the owner saying he wasn’t happy with the 7.9 score so I highlighted the issues we’d experienced. Kettle contained water left over by previous guests and thick layer of lime scale around the lid. Base of the shower screen was dirty. No shampoo. A down-lighter had its socket and bare wires hanging down. Shower water pressure very poor. Net curtain in the bathroom kept falling down and the blind in the bedroom did not keep out early morning light. The owner then sent another e-mail insinuating that we had made it all up and then, MORE SHOCKINGLY, he phoned my husband’s mobile to ask if we had got him mixed up with a different B&B to which my husband replied ‘No’, at which point the owner told my husband to “F*** off and don’t come back!!” Having since checked reviews for this B&B it seems that if anyone gives a score lower than 8 they receive a sarcastic and rude response from the owner so no doubt I will receive the same.

Constructive Feedback not Welcomed by the Owner

Friendly welcome & a cosy room with tea & coffee facilities, good shower & lots of tolieteries.  It was a lovely comfortable bed & although the room faced the main road we were far enough off the road not to hear any passing cars.  Breakfast was tasty, cereal & fruit to help yourself to, plenty of choice for a hot breakfast & toast.  Well worth staying if you are in the area.

Fabulous stay fantastic  breakfast so clean.  Kevin and Linda were super excellent hosts and the gardens are unbelievable would highly recommend we had a fantastic stay arrived as strangers left as friends

Girly break

A great place to stay with a lovely atmosphere. The house has a brilliant garden and there are some excellent photos in the dinning room. Our room was  very clean and had a good size ensuite. The hosts were friendly, helpful and the cooked breakfast was excellent. Excellent value for money. We have stayed in more expensive places that have not been as nice or as welcoming. We will definitely make this our first choice if visiting Alnwick again.
