Nice clean room, excellent breakfast, easy free parking on site. There could be dozens of places with the same rating but it's the owner that makes the difference at Golden Pension. He is extremely kind in a genuine way which reflects the spirit of Turkey. I had a problem with my motorcycle that was solved in no time with his and his friend's help . Tried to offer money and then a coffee to show my appreciation for the help but no way , they just helped me out of kindness...At the end I was offered a coffee!!!! I have promised myself to go back with my family so good was the whole experience. Did I mention the beauty of Patara Beach...

5 stars all the way!

We are here a week, but I'm already calling this place my other home. First I must say that this is a pansion, therefore do not expect some ultra, turbo, de luxe hotel, in opposite its a simple, nice, quiet place with a spirit of, for most of us, lost family world. Rooms are not big but beds are big and very comfortable. Its in quite surrounding and sleeping is very good. The entire place is very clean. The restaurant is excellent. We will be back for sure.

Awesome place to stay! Kind people, great location and super cool staff. I felt very blessed to have stayed in this wonderful hotel. The staff was fluent in English and are trusting and kind to their guests. It is in a central location and they serve a killer free breakfast! When eating on the deck, checkout the sparrows!!

A home when away!

The hotel is conveniently located and is only a five minute drive away from the ruins of Patara. The rooms are basic but clean. As this was the start of the season the restaurant was not open for dinner but the breakfast was excellent and included freshly cooked eggs. When I stayed here last year the restaurant was open and was good value for money.

My second stay here and I will certainly return

We returned after 12 years to find the Golden Pansiyon still a pleasant place to stay in Patara. Our room had a balcony where you could pluck lemons from the tree in the garden. The manager was very helpful and breakfast was good, served on the hotel verandah, with swallows nesting over our heads. The room was clean and comfortable and away from the road, not that Patara is busy or noisy!

A pleasant return

Wonderful owner and staff.  Unfortunately very uncomfortable beds.  Meals rather boring and unimaginative but to be honest we could say that about all of the restaurants we dined at in Patara.  We did go out of season and this could be the reason for this.  The portion sizes were more than adequate.

Got what we paid for.

We were recommended to this hotel restaurant which has an attractive first floor terrace from where you can watch village life through the greenery. The place was winding down when we arrived around 19.30 for dinner and we were the only customers.  We had lentil soup with the softest toasted garlicky bread you can imagine followed by a small mezze plate of courgette fritters, cheese pastry straws and chilli dip. This was followed by sea bream and vegetable casserole. Food was ok, service was ok, price was ok.
