We travelled here as a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. We had two rooms in the Club section. The hotel is perfect, fantastic location and right beside the beach which is gorgeous and has its own hotel beach bar. The food is lovely and themed each night. The pools and sunbed areas are so clean and there is never an issue to get a sunbed.
1 euro each way to get into town with the bus stop right outside the hotel.
The entertainment is brilliant and is on every night in the outdoor amphitheatre. The tables have waiter service so no long queues at the bar.
We had an issue with the air con in our room which was fixed within 30 mins. Definitely going back next year. The only downside is the long transfer from the Airport - it takes nearly 2 hours on the coach.

The Best Week at Blue Waters Club

Amazing hotel and would highly recommend. Great location on the beach and a short bus journey into Side. Lots of great facilities for all ages and wonderful entertainment. The staff work so hard to keep it very clean and everywhere was spotless. Staff were helpful and friendly and shout out to the following who were outstanding. Pool Bar staff Kuret, Kerot & Ahmet. Amazing hotel

Exceeded all expectations.
2 bedroom family room in the Annexe building - lots of room and decent sized balcony. Two bathrooms also a bonus. Mini fridges are refilled every day with water and soft drinks. Maid service every day.
Pools are busy - one main activity pool and two smaller quiet pools but can always find a sunbed - no need to reserve - and lots of shade/umbrella options greatly needed in 30+ degrees.
Food - different themes every night and of a high standard.
Tried the Austrian and Turkish themed restaurant and both recommended.
Entertaiment - acts on in the outdoor theatre but we mostly stuck to the beach bar where there was usually a live band.
Beach - private and lots of sunbeds and shade. The pier offers additional sunbeds and seating. Didn’t book any excursions but we got taxis and the bus from outside the hotel into Side Old Town and the Market. 
It is a mainly German hotel but that didn’t bother me (I try avoid 100% English hotels as I want to be abroad) and most of the staff can speak English once they realise you’re not German (and my GCSE German also came in handy at times). 
No negatives at all. 
We didn’t use the kids/sports clubs etc as my kids are teenagers and are introverts but we all had a great stay.

Exceeded all expectations

Hotel is so clean and has the most fabulous facilities. Had an amazing 2 weeks. Staff are fantastic and a special mention to Aybuk, Calel (pool waiting staff)and Azzraskar (evening restaurant) such amazingly happy people.
Food was great as was the amazing entertainment, shows and the live bands. The beach is beautiful. Totally recommend this hotel.

5 star

Best resort that i have ever been. Staff was always high energy and smiling, food was great specially with different concepts for each night. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. With all of the activities for a complete vacation i would one hundred percent reccomend.

A perfect vacation

Blue Waters Club is a good hotel but not 5 star. With small rooms that need some TLC and have a bug problem, this hotel missed the 5 star mark. Luckily we’re only knocking one star off due to the great food, entertainment and surroundings. 

Food

Great variety, loved the 24/7 patisserie and enjoyed visiting the Turkish and Austrian restaurant free of charge. 

Buffet food was flavourful, and we loved the themed nights such as Latino night with tacos and fajitas! Finally, a great selection of desserts including trayfuls of tasty baklava.

Drinks

Good range of cocktails however they tasted very different from bar to bar and were usually very watered down. Could have 5-6 cocktails in one evening and not feel a thing!
Lots of drinks for children like mocktails and juices. Also loved the idea of having a ‘Kids Corner’ so they’d always get served without waiting forever.

Entertainment

We’ve never been to a resort with so much going on throughout the day- it was amazing! They have lots of activities throughout the day like water polo and pool games. In the evening there’s always a live show on in the amphitheatre, and then live music at the beach bar until 11pm and a disco by the pool until late. They even have a mini nightclub that goes on until 2pm. So entertainment wise, there is something for everyone!

Resort surroundings

We wouldn’t have coped in the scoring 35 degrees weather if it wasn’t for the abundance of pine and palm trees around the hotel. This was really beautiful and made you feel close to nature. Much more pleasant than those huge block hotels with no trees! The private beach is also really big and clean enough with lots of free sunbeds all in the shade. 

Rooms

This is what really let the hotel down in our opinion.

We stayed in a club room. It’s worth noting the club section of the hotel existed first over 30 years ago and then they built the main building section. 

From the outside, we liked the style of the club rooms although a paint job could help them from looking tired. 

Inside the room, it was way too small for the 3 of us. We stayed in the double room with extra sofa bed. It was really tight and crammed in there, and the room needs a lot of TLC. Wasn’t the end of the world as you treat it as a lock up and leave however definitely not a 5 star room.

We were unfortunate enough to find a small cockroach in our bathroom. Luckily we killed it before it could get away. We also got ants everywhere in our room. We saw a few ants the first day we arrived which were sprayed with ant spray but that didn’t stop them taking over our luggage by day 2.

We reported the ants and the cockroach to reception and they really didn’t seem fazed. I know their English isn’t the best but we could tell they knew what we were saying. After some back and forth, we were given a new room- although this was only due to the ants and not a care in the world about the cockroach!!

Our new room was another club room identical to the last. Straight away we found fresh white paint dripping from the air vent. Someone came to clear this up but by the end of the week we could see the mould around the vent that was previously hidden by the fresh dripping paint…

We were also unlucky enough to find another bug in our room that looked again like a cockroach. We weren’t sure whether it was actually a cockroach or a beetle- for peace of mind we convinced ourselves it was a beetle however the long antennae and oval body suggested otherwise. Saying we hadn’t heard about a cockroach problem at the hotel beforehand, we found it strange to have found 2 cockroaches during our stay. When someone came to kill the second cockroach/beetle around midnight, we asked if they could tell us what the bug was but conveniently enough the guy spoke “no English”. That night we slept nervously inhaling the smell of bug spray which the guy had sprayed all over the room.

This experience was definitely not something we expected from a 5 star hotel. Having been to many different 4 and 5 star hotels across Greece and Spain we have never had such a small room lacking TLC with so many uninvited guests! 

Staff

Friendly staff, they speak good German but not great English as most the clientele is German. Still found the staff made an effort with us and didn’t treat us any differently. Entertainment team and bar staff were also great.

All in all, a lovely resort with great staff, entertainment and food. However this hotel cannot be considered 5 star until they sort out their rooms, give the place some TLC and take their cockroach and ant problem seriously. 

To end on a positive, thank you Blue Waters club for a nice first time in Turkey :)

Great vibes- just swap the cockroaches for some TLC!

As an English family of 4 with two teenagers, I can absolutely recommend this resort whole heartedly. The place was clean, food was good and abundant suiting many tastes, the staff were friendly and could speak a few languages including enough English, the entertainment team were fun, the pools were glorious, the beach was clean and the sea was salty and warm.  There really was nothing to complain about.  It was as the person before said, extremely hot!  Thanks to all at Blue Waters, we really had a relaxing family holiday and that’s what we went for.

Wonderful stay

English review - We are here now as I write it - We are loving it but I thought I’d break it down. We are a family of 3 - child 13yrs. I would come back. 

Hotel - Although a big complex, once you have been here a few days it isn’t really - just lots of places to sit. It’s split Hotel side and Club side. We stayed in a club room and have loved it. Enough room, beds comfy, mini bar stocked, freshly made up. Balcony a bit small but private looking our in nature (bit like looking at centre parks pine trees). Clean everywhere, lots of friendly staff and loads to do. 

Nationalities - Varied at the moment, mixed between German, Dutch, English, French and Spanish. All good. Can make it difficult for a early teen to make a holiday mate but manageable. Get to know the entertainment team - good laugh. 

Food - Just lovely - lots of different restaurants to try and enjoy. We have our 3 meals in different ones. Breakfast near our room in the outside n the club restaurant, lunch at the Beach bar and evening meal in main hotel restaurant. The food is gorgeous, really tasty and lots of variety. There is a separate patisserie place also. 

Pools - 3 pools - Two quieter pools near the aqua park (3 good water slides). Pools can be warmer. One big pool on the club side a lot cooler (2 water slides here). To be honest the club pool has the atmosphere, where the games take place and music plays. Very picturesque, rock feature at the centre - tunnels, bridges. It’s a 2min walk between them.

Bars - Loads of pool bars!! Lots of alcohol 

Evening - Shows on at 21.15 each night. Then music plays (and a late night disco until 2am if you fancy it). Little kids bit before. You can choose to drink at the beach, the pool or upstairs in the lounge.

Activities - Main ones are beach volleyball, aqua fitness, water polo and the typical funny one at midday. There is mini golf, table tennis, shuffleboard and boccia. Plus tennis and large football pitches. There is a central kids club but I can’t comment on it. 

Beach - Proper sand right on the hotel doorstep. The most beautiful pier (with its own bar) where you can pitch up for the day - sun beds also. Beach has lots of sun beds and water sports (at a charge) near. 

Location - Nothing really within walking distance (which was fine for us as we anted a hotel holiday). Side is a 10 euro taxi ride or 1 euro bus ride. Nice ruins (I was told) and market place which is tough to haggle in as they have higher rent prices. Manavgat is 15 euro away and cheaper goods. 

Tips - Lots of sunbeds dotted around in shady areas too. If you want a particular spot then you will have to get up early to nab them (around 6.45am seemed to work). You can put towels down and leave them though to go back to bed. 

Four shops on site that you can look around. Clothes, bags and shoes. 

Be careful it’s hot!!!!! Middle of a heatwave at the moment. 

A lovely place - we were worried by the size of it to start but are having an absolute blast. Gorgeous.

Lovely place for a holiday

My stay at Hotel bleu water  was absolutely wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring every aspect of my visit was enjoyable. The room was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, with a stunning view that made my mornings even more special. The amenities were top-notch, dj for disco and entertainment was very good also activity so nice i wish come back again see you bleu water soon

Good experience

For the 2nd time in Blue Waters, We really enjoyed our holiday again. The area is really wonderful big, with many green areas, and so clean. 
Rooms, food, entertainment, pools, special restaurants, all was great. Very friendly staff.
