I recently had the pleasure of staying at this excellent hotel overnight. I was unexpectedly upgraded to a corner suite which was of superior quality and style.

Upon check-out I needed to locate the unknown port at which my cruise ship was docking and the reception staff were absolutely fantastic in assisting me.

I highly recommend this hotel as it more that met my expectations of a 5 star accommodation.

I have NEVER stayed at a hotel in the past (and I have been in hundreds over the years) that was a better experience than I had at the Hotel Sisli. I was attending a conference at the Cevahir Hotel and convention center in Istanbul (my first time in this magnificent city) and was looking for a simple place at low cost that was close to the convention center and Metro and would give me a better flavor of the city than the touristy, pricey high end hotel areas. What a Gem! This is a family run business and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Hakan (day) and Bugra (night) receptionists. Two wonderful men who really helped me out when I had questions about how to get somewhere, where to eat, where to find a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon beer or a glass of wine etc. All of the hotel staff were amazing. The rooms are simple with little traditional amenities but are spotlessly clean. I don't often tip the cleaning staff but on this occasion I did. If I am ever fortunate enough to visit Istanbul again for work or pleasure I will definitely be staying at the Hotel Sisli for a part of my stay.

The smell of paint was in the air but the room and hotel was spotless and clean with new furniture. Breakfast was  forgettable there just wasn't  anything far better to go to a cafe on the street.Finding the hotel at night was difficult as it is in a back street.

I didn't have many expectations, my only concern was to be close to the Metro sice it was my first visit in Istanbul and to have internet access for my professional needs. Both were met. Staff was helpful but smile is not their strong quality. Hotel is neglected in certain details. Room furniture, especially ni the bathroom were in a rather bad shape. Breakfast was descent and rich in quality for the price you pay. Most probably I would stay there again if I was alone.

Great overnight stay and staff of the highest calibre

This hotel is the worst and yet one of the best hotels I ever stayed. I was looking for a hotel in Sisli near Cevahir mall, so I found this small hotel with a few reviews. As I wouldn’t be staying in the room during the day, I took the risk and booked a single room for 2 nights. 
With a fear in my heart I arrived to hotel and found out it’s even worse than I was expecting. Let me tell you what’s bad in here: too old furniture, torn towels washed without conditioner, awful shower that was splashing water all over the bathroom, non famous toiletries without any name and definition, uncomfortable bed, too washed bed cover which hurt my skin, water dropping from air conditioner, not working tv, no view from window, too poor breakfast. And this is not all.
But why I am not putting the lowest rating. It’s because of the amazing staff working here. The guy on the reception not speaking English, using google translate yet very eager to help and the girl who speaks very good English and has a charming smile. These two folks together with the cleaner and kitchen worker made my rating go high as what I most appreciate in service is attitude. I want to see smiling faces whenever I’m in hotel. And I got that. 
The hotel management has to do something to renovate it, because even these nice people won’t make me come here back.
BTW this hotel is just one minute walk from Cevahir Mall, 10-15 minutes ride from Taksim and 30-40 minutes ride from Sultanahmet. 

Poor hotel with wonderful staff 

Good location with very poor facilities in all respects
There is no one to bring your bag into the room
And the rooms are very different from the photos on the site
At First, the room they gave me didn't have a safe box, it didn't have a refrigerator, and it was much smaller than what was written on the website
The frame of the corridor was torn off and fell in the middle of the road. I was lucky that it didn't hit my head
