We had a lovely family holiday here during the Scottish school holiday week.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and staff were waiting for us to help with cases and getting us checked in.

The air con is £60 extra per week which I think is a bit steep but it was still needed, it is also only in the bedroom area meaning those in the living room area were still very hot! You can also hire a fan for £30 per week but we chose not to. The safe deposit box is small, our iPads didn’t fit in it. It costs £20 per week. We also chose to hire a wifi box at £30 for the week - this has been brilliant and provided unlimited internet everywhere for the duration of our holiday.

The pool and bar area is very clean and tidy. LOADS of sunbeds and no issues getting any at this time of year. The pool is much larger than the pictures suggest and the slides are great addition for the kids and big kids.

Staff around the bar and pool are attentive and friendly throughout, always smiling and looking to make your holiday more enjoyable.

Food and drink is plentiful and prices are reasonable. The quality is also really good, we had breakfast and lunch a few times and also dinner on our last day which was really tasty.

There’s a gaming area with air hockey (tokens needed) and pool (free) and there are games of bingo for cash prizes as well.

In terms of the rooms they are rather tired and dated, they definitely need some modernising and a fresh coat of paint applied. Our bathroom door was broken. The beds were okay. We had a terrific pool view so couldn’t complain about that. If you’re prepared to look past the decor and see this place as simply a base for your holiday and sleeping then you’ll be just fine. Don’t expect luxury but it certainly does for us.

Location wise this hotel is perfect! It’s literally a 2 minute walk to the town centre and maybe 10 mins to the beach if you want to go there.

To sum things up this was a lovely family holiday, very quiet at this time of year but the weather and hotel were perfect for us!

Would we return? Yes! It would just be nicer if the rooms were a little more refreshed.

Good holiday, needs modernising

Been coming icmeler for years, either staying here or Efem. Will not be returning to palm garden. The owner doesn’t acknowledge you unless you are constantly spending money, he doesn’t greet you when arriving or even say goodbye. He seems to think that you should eat & drink there the whole time, even tho the whole point of SC is so you can go out on an evening. Another young guy is now there, unsure if he has gone into the business but he is definitely not an asset. He is rude and arrogant. I noticed a couple of things on our bill at the end of our stay that we hadn’t had, as soon as I asked them to check it and remove the items their attitudes stank. I told him he was rude and he started raising his voice, threw the card machine down on the counter for me to pay, when I pointed out I was paying in cash he starting moaning in Turkish, told me to hurry up and leave. I said trip advisor will get a review and we’ll not be back, he said ‘good we don’t need your money, you hardly spend anyway’ unsure If he’d have took that attitude with my partner. The cleaning is very questionable, the towels and bedding smell musty, stained and discoloured. Air con is a rip off. Couldn’t shower in the mornings or later evening as water cold. The best two things about this hotel is the pool and the new lady that serves, however it is clear that larger groups are favoured. I’m glad to say my other half has now fell out of love with palm garden and if we ever do return it’ll be to Efem, who, considering the owners are related, they know how to treat their self catering guests.

Last visit from me!!

Spent 14 nights here and loved every minute.
Apts are basic but have everything you need. 
Bed was hard but ok for a two week stay 
Our balcony could easily seat 4 at the table with room for more and looked into the pool 
Pool is fantastic. Walk in pool with flumes for the kids.
Flumes are on twice daily for 2 hours. Pool area is spotless clean with background music not blaring banging music.
Staff are amazing. Keirsh and H especially looked after us all well. 
Food from the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced 
Our room was cleaned every second day with our bedding changed weekly.
Parts of the complex are dated but I honestly have no complaints and will be booking to return at the same time next year

Brilliant basic and clean apartments with excellent pool area and great staff in an excellent location.

We stayed here as a family of 8 for a week in September. The rooms are quite basic, but they are kept clean and have everything you need. The pool area and restaurant/bar are lovely, the kids all loved the pool and the water slides, and the small arcade area in the bar. 
The staff are just fantastic, they are all so friendly and couldn’t have done anymore to make our stay as great as it was. 
The food and drink are all reasonably priced, and there are plenty of options for food. 
This was our first stay in İçmeler and we loved it so much we were looking at rebooking whilst we were still there. The apartments are in an ideal location, just around the corner from all the bars, restaurants and shops, and a short walk to the beach. 
Hopefully we will be back next year :)

Great family holiday.

Just got back from
Staying at this hotel by worse the one I’ve ever stayed in…The beds were like sleeping on a brick,the bed base was all broken and dipped so was like sleeping in a ditch..there was no hot water as and wen needed it was like it was turned on at set times..cob webs in the room.the towels which were supposed to be clean smelt like wet dog.supposed to be daily room cleaning which I was there a week and they had only cleaned twice.tge bedding was changed once as I attually watched them cutting corners.tge bins I had to change myself and also get clean towels myself as the trolley was left in the corridor to help yourself.i found them very rude when asked about a problem.there was no daily entertainment like it stated wen booking just the odd game of bingo here and there and that was only
If there was enough people otherwise they wouldn’t play that.no entertainment around the pool for the kids so it was boring for them if you take your little ones.there money mad.you can be sat watching the football
And they would just come over and turn the volume right down..very rude.i would never return to this hotel and wouldn’t definitely not recommend.best part was the location it was close to shops and bars and beach that’s about it.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at..

We arrived on 26 aug for 2 weeks hadn't been in 11 yrs and place hadn't changed apart from the new balcony nice place staff lovely especially the entertainment staff centre was fantastic good sense of humour brilliant talked to everyone for us she made our holiday xx

Cemre what a star made our holiday 

Well. What can I say. Just got back from a 2 week stay at palm garden with my partner, mum, my son who is autistic and my daughter. Incredible place to stay. Entertainer Cemre is the most wonderful lady ever, my kids love her ! She made us feel welcome, she spent time with my children and she's the most incredible lady ever! Made our holiday.. Will definitely be going back. Location is fab. Rooms are cleaned regularly, food is Brill. All round a Brill holiday. We can't wait to get back and see Entertainer cemre ❤️

First time @ Palm Gardens . Throughly enjoyed our stay .
Ali and his team can’t do enough for you . Rooms were cleaned regularly and fresh towels available everyday (they are on the 1st floor of the central staircase just help yourself . Food was good and reasonably priced.

Enjoyable Stay

The pool and bar area are fantastic, however the rooms are basic and need a really good clean, towels are changed and floors swept every other day- however never mopped, I’m pretty sure they weren’t even mopped before we arrived. 

Food and drinks were good and at a decent price. 

Sun beds are a nightmare you have to be there at 7:30 to get them, there were some large groups when we stayed that would put towels on 10 + beds and not use half of them and loads of others that would be empty all day - staff really need to remove towels. 

So overall bar, pool and staff were great, can not fault the staff at all! location is really good - however  rooms are very basic which is fine for the price we paid but cleaning needs to be improved and floors need to be mopped  - AC is also expensive considering there is only 1 unit in the bedroom. 

Rooms are tired and if they were refurbished it would be an amazing hotel- but then it would cost a lot more.

Ok so …. Palm Gardens we got a really good price on this reason for booking and also reading up on all the great reviews . The Appartments are decent enough. However for me being put in a 1 bedroom appartment with a family isn’t great as you only get aircon in the bed room ONLY so whoever is in the living room sleeping would be melting ! We paid £84 for aircon for 10 days . You could hardly swing a cat in appartment rooms cleaned every 3 days not ideal ! Should be done every day as it’s not that big . Water turns cold basically after half 5 both my kids would be crying getting a shower  as they were only 4 & 10 months ! Again I know it’s not 5 star but just my opinion. 

We couldn’t even sit out on our balcony as there was the vent for aircorn blasting hot air out in the balcony when it’s already 35/40 degrees! 

The pool is a lot bigger in real life than the jet2 photos , good luck getting the a sunbed it’s a nightmare , i actually seen people sleeping out on the beds at 5am as your not aloud to put your towels down until 7:30am! 

The staff were really good & friendly the food was quite nice at the bar. 

I definitely think next year we would book a decent hotel , so we could sit in our balcony , and hopefully have aircorn all over our room . 

Would I return ? Nah probably not.
