Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Dalyan!

Amazing little hotel, we have been fortunate enough to enjoy the faultless hospitality of Umit and Serap 8 times now, prior to finding the Mehtap my wife and I always vowed never to return to a place because the world is too big. We fell in love immediately with the ambience, friendliness and  excellent customer service which is second to none. The rooms are spotless, we have never been to a cleaner hotel. Bedding is changed almost daily. The pool is always pristine and has excellent depth. The food is amazing, breakfasts are lovely and Sepap's lunch and evening meals are as good as any restaurant- but much better value. We have met many life-long friends here and look forward to seeing them all again in June. This is an excellent hotel for both singles, friends and couples. You can choose to join in or be solitary. It has something for everyone. You won't regret booking this hotel- you book direct with the owner via the internet. They don't need to advertise, it is all word of mouth from the many regulars- which says it all. I wouldn't usually recommend a hotel to friends in case they don't like it, but I would have no hesitation with this one.

Number 1 hotel in Dalyan!

We love this hotel, we love the hosts the guests everything about it. It is very close just 10 minutes  to all the lovely Restaurants in Dalyan and less than 30 minutes from the Airport at Dalaman. I should stress that there is no airport noise and a plane or helicopter flying over is so rare it becomes a talking point. We love Dalyan it’s such a laid back place, everyone feels at home here especially at the Mehtap where the lovely owners immediately make you feel like one of the family. The rooms are kept spotlessly Clean with clean towels every day. The bar and Restaurant are lovely. Turkish Breakfast is served every morning also Lunches for those who relax round the pool. Serap does delicious pancakes and crepes. Whatever time you wander back in the evening Ümit the owner will be waiting to serve you a nightcap, he is always on hand to ring you a taxi organise you a boat trip, book a Turkish Bath arrange your transfers to the Airport in fact just to take all the stress away from you to ensure you have a perfect and relaxing holiday in this beautiful town. 

Should be number 1

Our second stay but not our last. Hotel is around 1/2 km out of town but flat walk. Very clean and pleasant. Weekly barbecue was really good and all made very welcome at any time by Umit and Serap. Breakfast ok but typically turkish. We had a great relaxing week thank you

2nd stay

All the best things in life must come to an end, we have had another fantastic time at this hotel, Umit and serap have once excelled in their attentive service, met up with some old friends from previous years, I believe that all the past comments from other guests says it all. Looking forward to next year
