Kartaltepe Boutique Hotel

We went to the region for skiing and we chose Butique Hotel as we found Kartalkaya hotels outragously expensive on the top of the mountain.  Apperantly it was a good choice.  Very friedly staff weven if communication in English was a little slow.  Godd menu, nice cosy room.  Really liked.

The location is not easy to find but my sat nav got us within 100 metres. Great views, rooms are ok but nothing special, clean and tidy. We had an interesting view of a Jay bringing up her brood in a tree outside. The food was really good and breakfast was exceptional with freshly baked bread.
Since the rooms are not soundproofed I guess there might be a problem with loud music.
I can only say it was great and they even help sort out a jump start after I left my lights on all night.

From the moment we arrived the staff treated us like royalty. We had a lovely room with a private verandah with a fabulous view of the countryside to Bolu. The bathroom was a bit on the small side considering how large the room was. It was the staff that make this place and the food! All organic, most home made and or locally sourced.The most incredible spread for breakfast including wild honeycomb, home baked bread, home made preserves and buffalo cream. Yum! Very conveniently situated just a few miles from the highway. Bit difficult to find but all the locals know it so just ask. If you get the chance go here!

Despite negative reviews it is a delightful place

Best breakfast I have ever had in Turkey!

Location would please anyone who is looking for a quiet place stay. Room was clean, bed could have been more comfortable. Watch if you are booking for 3, cuz there is one double size bed and one fold up bed. The restaurant is convenient and they serve good food. All in all, was bot bad experience. 

A bit over priced

we were travelling in a group of 11 family members and friends.I chose this hotel due to the reviews.Unfortunately,it was not up to my expectations.There are very few rooms and we were the only occupants.Except for my room on the first floor,the other rooms on the 2nd floor were rather claustrophobic.I believe the 2nd floor rooms were rebuilt into the attic thus there was a sharp incline on one side of the rooms to accommodate the shape of the roof.You can only stand upright in one part of the room as the sloping ceiling cuts into the other half leaving you feeling cramped.
The plus point was the dinner and breakfast which was good.We were however not allowed to consume a few pegs of our own whiskey ( during dinner) which we had purchased at the Duty Free outlet at the airport. The manager however said that we could only consume it in our rooms.This was disappointing.This hotel is 2980 feet above sea level and is a ski resort in winter.
The rooms are clean and Mr.Faroukh (Grand Pa)-the owner and his family are nice and friendly.Their grand daughter "Maya" is really cute and charming.It was a one night stay for us
so it really did not matter.

NOT UP TO EXPECTATIONS

Old dirty firntuer lot of mold all the room old smelly carpit

Don't even try to go. You can not  reach your destination. Awful and dirty room. Not clean meals and broken tea glasses. İf you couldn't find an inn to stay than you can stay. Stay in jail for a night is much better to stay here. Nonsense live music till midnight
