Greenwood Suites Resort

A superb hotel experience from check in to check out. Rooms - We got upgraded to a suite. Well maintained, super large and cleaned every day. Beds also comfy. Restaurants - Food great, some of the evening courses like noodles were so nice and enjoyable. Lunch always had nice chicken or beef dishes with salads. Breakfast is OK, but not for me. Plenty of pastries and pan cakes etc. They also have an overnight restaurant on floor 1 that provides fresh cooked hot meals like fish and chips, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, cakes and drinks. Great if you arrive late at night as its open until 7am. Staff - All lovely and helpful. Nothing is too much for them. Special mention to Mustafa in restaurant who made our holiday so special and Ibrahim in the restaurant and Splash Bar, always went that extra mile. The guys on skates delivering drinks to your sunbed was also a great touch and again they are so helpful. Pools - We used the two pools near waterslides, always clean with plenty of sunbeds. Both warm. The slides were great for everyone and provide lots of fun. Entertainment – Various games during the day both non pool and pool. Decent at night, acts 6 days a week and kids disco for 30 minutes every day. Shops – A few shops within hotel that sell the normal holiday stuff, SPA (used for Turkish bath and massage – very good) and hairdressers that include braiding. Other - Ice cream hut Open from 11-4 and for evening meals. Great touch and part of AI, guy who does it is always helpful. Flat Bread station, from 11 till about 3, lovely lady who makes flatbread fresh with several fillings, another great touch. Beach - Bus runs every day, beach restaurant and surrounding areas could to with a bit of TLC but a nice change and includes free food and drinks part of AI. Recommendations – TLC at beach buildings, blow up station for inflatables, a few flies in restaurant can be annoying – need some sort of fly catcher. Summary – Would highly recommend this hotel, it goes above and beyond most people’s requirements. I would also definitely return if the price right next year.
