Deposit 50% and you cancelled even more than 1 month advance the resort cut off refund 30%(do not tell when you booking ) Not big money but refund all and for contact only by phone with sms no fb./Line not good manage.  After cancelled the resort answer will transfer to my AC.with in 2 day i wait until 10 day  and send sms.to ask again and i got the refund.  I'll never booking the room there.

Not honest for customer

We stayed 2 nights in an I-moon room. Great views of the valley and hills in the background. The surrounding garden is well maintained.
Very pleasant area for strolling around and admiring the views.
The location is off the beaten path so very peaceful; but a rough track to get get there for a 1km - definitely not a route for a low chassis vehicle!
The staff were friendly enough. The booking by phone was easy.
The room is nicely designed but a few of the lights weren't working. The bathroom was spacious but rust was starting to show on the shower side. Mosquito net was ripped big enough to let a swarm of mosquitoes in.

The major negative points, that have already been mentioned by many:
No on site restaurant or any means of snacks. 
Breakfast on the Saturday morning was a shock - by far the worst breakfast we've ever had in a hotel - cold and next to nothing. As they don't have a restaurant on site the breakfast is brought in from somewhere with no possibility of keeping it warm.
The breakfast on Sunday was better (more guests in the resort) but still not good and we went there as soon as it opened so we received something warm to eat.
No coffee shop or bar
No laundry service 
No in-room coffee or tea - a first for us; we've never been in a resort or hotel that hasn't provided these basic room services. But we asked for a kettle and received one then bought our own coffee from a minimart.

Such a shame for the negative points, the resort has the potential to be much better if it improved on its services. It's understandable why the nearby Veravian Resort sees more customers even though the rooms lack the view of this resort. 

We would return here if the on-site services improved otherwise no.



Nice resort with very good scenery but basics could be improved

Nice resort but nothing fancy.
No restaurant and breakfast was less than adequate.
The room itself was spacious but requires better maintenance. Many things broke.
Pool was small and their photo on the net didn't reflect the actual.
For 100$, i expect more .. 

Nice but nothing fancy

Stayed 2days in Chantara Valley Hotel. The first night we were allocated to Honey Moon room by mistake. Thankfully, by the second day we were shifted to iMoon room which is much newer and cleaner as compared to Honey Moon. I will not review much about Honey Moon room, as it is not worth the effort. Please opt for iMoon room.

iMoon room comes with basic amenities and air-conditioning. Each iMoon room has fantastic view and I can say the air up there is definitely very fresh and weather, very cooling all day long.

The staff here were courteous, friendly, and helpful.  The gardeners especially, deserve a pat in the back for keeping the surroundings of the resort so clean and trim.

However, I can’t say the same for the room (Full Moon type) that we stayed.  No doubt, it looks nice from the pictures in the website, but it’s such a waste that the management couldn’t keep the rooms in good order.  It has such a beautiful and spacious bathroom, it has 2 showers (one being an outdoor) and a wardrobe within the bathroom.  The lavatory (in our 1st room, before we change to another room) was malfunctioning.  The water pressure was so low that after one flush we have to wait for ages for the water to get fill-up.  Besides, the shower curtain was so dirty with blackish mould, but I can’t comprehend why the management never bothers to get it replaced.  We asked to change to another room and were grateful that they granted our request.

The swimming pool was dirty – I doubt anyone would dare to jump in!  It’s such a nice pool, but it would be a waste that you can’t enjoy the only outdoor facility due to poor maintenance!  

There’s one positive sigh though - the breakfast was good, it offered a good selection of coffee that we rarely get to enjoy in other hotels/resorts.  We have a good choice of Americano, Expresso, Latte, Mocha and Cappuccino, and a very delicious porridge and sausage.

Other than the said let down, we had a good stay – the place is quiet, it has a wonderful panoramic view and I can say the resort has a very cosy and peaceful ambience.  I urge the management of the resort to maintain its facilities and rooms, otherwise it will ultimately stand to lose more guest.

Nice Resort with Beautiful View

Lovely place, clean and surrounded by nature. Little deep to get there but was not too hard to find. Imoon type room has a beautiful view. For dinner i recommend you go out to eat at nearby restautants as they do not provide. Breakfast is provided with eggs, ham, toast snd tice porridge.
